vvvslaxman Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 This time justified slamming. That was stupid call. An extra ball and an extra run missed.
yoda Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 RD should have stormed the field and demanded umps refer to 3rd ump, Harby style. In this case it would have been justified.
Executioner Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 They should also blame themselves for the complacency. It was a 50/50 decision, blaming the umpire was needless
yoda Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 They should also blame themselves for the complacency. It was a 50/50 decision' date=' blaming the umpire was needless[/quote'] Dude, wides are 50/50 decision? :giggle:
ganeshran Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 After having 15 runs to win off the last 2 overs with 9 wickets in hand, they are whining about a single umpiring decision. RD should stop leaving things for too late and should have aimed at finishing it in the 19th over both while he was batting and then later from the dug out. Rahane tried his best though , cant really find fault with him
Number Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 You can't deny that it was poor umpiring and in the end it was costly. It's owner who is making an issue out of it, RD I don't think will do that.
Stuge Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Umpiring standard has been poor till now and this is not the only match . If umpires can forget to count numbers of balls bowled in an International match in an over then this is nothing .
bangladeshifan Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 wen u need to score 15 runs from 12 balls with 9 wickets in hand...one opener still batting and u cant win the match no point whining and blaming it on the umpire

Magneto Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 If the RR owner knows that the SuperPanauti SJ is their mascot, he might just sue ICF. :giggle:
lovish Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Actually one run and one extra ball hurts a lot when you lose by a single run... that perticular umpire is really bad.. I have seen him making wrong decisions many times... he should be shown the outdoor... btw rj can take there revenge from delhi today... One day, I will take us easy. Today won't be that day...
kidnextdoor Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Well one has to consider that with the power shift in IPL from Modi , RR lost a lot of influence in the league.... form cutting their auction budget by 2 million, BCCI wanting to cut the team from the league all together, Current sitiuation where MI and CSK are bullying the IPL to do what ever they want.... I dont blame them any one would be pissed with the loss of power
