From what I saw of him in the India A matches in Abu Dhabi, he seemed more like a grafter and ODI material Link to comment
Chandan Posted August 7, 2007 Share Posted August 7, 2007 Rohit Sharma ais a very hard hitting batsman but he can adapt too, to grafting, if needed. And at Abu Dhabi, his knocks were wonderful attacking knocks. Dhoni is explosive and Karthik is a dasher too. Sehwag, Uthappa are as explosive. Who will provide the stability? Link to comment

His short 20 run innings would be useful in Twenty20 though. I am surprised that they didn't pick Dinesh Mongia in the Twenty20 XI. Link to comment
