GautiMaan Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Rayudu and Sharma, to keep the foreign slot free. Kaunse skills bhai? Admittedly non existent t20 skills, but he wil get better payment, thats what Malinga did:winky:
asterix Posted May 24, 2012 Author Posted May 24, 2012 We will take Munaf Patel and give you Jaddu. :winky: Please... Jaddu is 1000 times better than Munna...
vvvslaxman Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 MI fans facebook is full of hatred towards bhajji.. lol if they get hold of him they will beat the crap out of him :hysterical:
Sidhoni Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 MI should retain Levi, Franklin, Gibbs and Perera :winky:
GautiMaan Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 One of the comments there dunia hilane chale the.. khud hil gaye..:hysterical:
vvvslaxman Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 I you want to win in India you need good spin options. Period. KKR has finally that. They were where they should be.
rajmarie Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 New auctions again next year. WTF. IPL like to create massive confusion. Let the teams stay atleast 3 years...& then let franchise decides whom to keep & let go. It appears that no matter what...smart franchise have to cover the mistakes of stupids ones + MI mistakes

They were there in '08, '11 and now will be conducted in 2014.
Needforspeed Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 A few IPL teams must be regretting not bidding more for Sunil Narine. He would have been a winner for any team.
gaurav92 Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Thissara Perera, Pollard were wasted. We could have seen Pollard at no.3 more often, and easily above Rayudu and Franklin in the finals. Rubbish captaincy.
vvvslaxman Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 One decent seamer is enough. But having 2 or 3 gun spinners will give a massive advantage.
vvvslaxman Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Pakistanis will have a good shot if they are allowed.. Ajmal, Hafeez
Zelig Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 I you want to win in India you need good spin options. Period. KKR has finally that. They were where they should be. Not just India, good spin/slow bowlers is the way to go in T20 anywhere in the world. Tassie had just one good batsman - Travis Birt, but 2-3 good spin options and they ended the league phase as runner up in the BBL.
Zelig Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Please no more auctions. If they are so adamant, they can hold one LAST auction in 2014 and that's it.
GautiMaan Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Please no more auctions. If they are so adamant' date=' they can hold one LAST auction in 2014 and that's it.[/quote'] Then how on earth do we get rid of jaddu?
Needforspeed Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Then how on earth do we get rid of jaddu? Good point...If not for auctions how does any team get rid of useless players...Or some players who are OK to be in some team, but on present form are way too overvalued. Saurabh Tiwary and Yusuf Pathan are examples of players who were bid based on past performances which they could not replicate subsequently. Auctions take care of the market dynamics.
yoda Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 wonder if KKR, RCB and DD are in favor of retention now. :winky:

If you don't want a player you can put him back in the pool i.e. you can retain as many players (you think will get the job done for you) as you want and send the rest to an auction. Makes sense :hmmm:
rajmarie Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 the franchise can make a contract with a player for 3 years...like now. Then once 3 years finished...the existing franchise should have the 1st rights to renogociate another contract for 3 years with that player. If the franchise & player dont come to an agreement, the play goes back to auction pool
