T20: Might as well send a new team

India should consider sending a team without senior players to the IPL, on one hand because it gives them experience and doesn't allow them to rely on seniors and also because it would save the Indian cricket team another dose of humiliation. It would also send a message to the senior players that their places aren't guaranteed if they don't perform. I'm thinking something similar to the India Team A.

Send whichever team. It wouldn't make any difference as we don't have the bowlers to do anything of note. Unless we score 200+ everytime batting 1st or chase 180+ consistently we are not gonna do much.

Whatever wkts they are you still need bowlers to win you a tourney. We don't have anyone. If Yuvi had been fit we would have had an outside chance but without him we are not good enough given the bowling lineup we have.

it's onyl t20 cricket, why take it so seriously Rahane is not a t20 player despite his recent ipl success. How is toiling in domestic (ranji) cricket going to help Ashwin in t20 cricket?, ashwin is still the best t20 specialist spinner out there with variation which is ideal for pitches in SL.

Gambhir has to go. i would probably make him the captain and give MSD a rest. guy is hungry for success let him prove it and also lets see if Dhoni can play a supporting role. Sehwag i am not sure is the right choice. Play Rahane or Dhawan. Raina has to be there and put in kohli and rohit.

We need a mix of experience and rookies. More experiment can be done with the bowlers. The criteria should be the IPL performances.

Fully agreed with you. India need to start taking test cricket more seriously. Everything else is secondary. Agreed about Ashwin as well. We can't keep dropping players as soon as they have one poor performance.

I'd like to see Mandeep in the team. But with chaatu boy Murali Vijay aka GOD LEGEND around, its gonna be difficult. My XI- Gambhir Sehwag/ although I wouldn't like to see him go Mayank Agarwal/Mandeep/Rahane Nohit Rayadu/someone Raina Naman/ although Dhobi it will be Fatwin Irfan/Awana Zak/PK Umesh
