Swing_n_Speed Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Agree that Al-Jaljeeera is top class when it comes to quality, content and "appearance of being balanced" just like CNN, BBC etc. But every big media house are essentially mouth pieces of their respective civilizations and are in the market to push an agenda to further their dominance. But when it comes to "unbiased" reporting on India (which should be our main concern) dont expect any mercy from AlJ...at this point their India coverage...editorial stance looks similar to that of BBC's views on India. Both BBC and AlJ blame Indians (indirectly Hindus) for any terror attacks that Pakis commit in India like the 2008 Mumbai Massacre. Its interesting that every major region in the world has their own big media that broadcast to other countries through TV, Magazines, Internet including the Chinese and now even the Barbarian-Arabs(For latest on barbarity look at Assad massacre of his own people) have it. America: CNN UK: BBC France: AFP etc Arabs, Pakis : Al Jazaaera Pakis: NDTV, BBC, Washington Post etc Chinese: CCTV India: ? Russia = RT News India = somewhat fair journalism. I mean our journos bash our governments as well as opposition players, and don't really try and influence public opinion like in the West or the Arab World.
