master22 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 There is always an under-current between Tamil and Kannadigas.. but it is always wise to stay away from social networking sites if you are a public figure even a small one. She is a mallu:cantstop:
vvvslaxman Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 May be ...may not be :idunno: RCB depended on other teams as much as CSK did. That is mostly because they finished their matches little early. But RCB's fate was in their own hands. They screwed it up royally.
vvvslaxman Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 She is a mallu:cantstop: Siddharth is a tamil.. but roots for DC.. Rahul bose is a bengali rooting for MI.. it depends on where you grow up .
ganeshran Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 There is always an under-current between Tamil and Kannadigas.. but it is always wise to stay away from social networking sites if you are a public figure even a small one. I have worked in Bangalore for close to 4 years and not seen a lot of problems between Tamils and Kannadigas at work. Apart from when the water dispute is in the news, there are no issues with locals too.

But it was pre-social-network era.
vvvslaxman Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 Tamil/Telugu industries are the biggest movie industry alongwith bollywood industry. So it is rather stupid to take a dig at them over a stupid IPL result.
master22 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Siddharth is a tamil.. but roots for DC.. Rahul bose is a bengali rooting for MI.. it depends on where you grow up . I think it is more of an attention seeking stunt than anything else. Now watch her get some big film offers.
ganeshran Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 I remember actor arjun also made some remarks about Tamil once. But it was pre-social-network era. The actors always thump their chest and make jingoistic remarks to gain popularity among their audiences, but among ordinary people, there is hardly any tension. Ya when the dispute flares up, then the situation becomes tense

vvvslaxman Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 why u taking IPL so seriously even after its finished... I didn't take it seriously when it was on.. i am merely saying how ignorant an ordinary IPL fan is.

vvvslaxman Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 This is only the beginning.. As the IPL franchise fan base grows up it is going to get real ugly like EPL.

Stuge Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Many Public Figures willl never understand that whatever spoken or written in public has deep repercussion attached to it even if those words are said on a lighter note .People tend to take those very seriously, and attack you from all the sides until you wilt down .

Then he deleted it. In this case she could have got away if he had just attacked CSK the IPL team. But she made a political comment. Hence wider criticism. Even those who don't follow IPL would haven taken offense to it.
