adi B Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 BJP has released its 2nd list of candidates (52): 20 from k'taka with yedurappa from shimoga 9 from west bengal with chandan mitra from hoogly sadananda gauda will contest from bengaluru(Central) the most important list will be for eastern UP where bjp might lose quite a lot of seats if they dont project the candidates properly
bulbul Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 1. Source plz regarding sena sponsored by Modi against MM Joshi [anything by a AAP supporter should be taken with pinch of salt] 2.Why can't these seniors step aside respectfully? seriously they failed last 2 times miserably, now we have a good chance and these people becoming rebels. Regarding respecting seniors, yes Modi should learn from Kejri, how he gives seats to any body who joins today because of senior citizen quota and ignore the loyal & original party workers. Also our PM should be some one who is able to run away fropm govt when his ego is not massaged.. These are the criteria required to run this country :hatsoff:

Its been all over the news as to how Modi fans have put up thousands of posters in Varanasi and have even protested against Joshi when he came there. In fact even in the Lucknow rally there were quite a few Modi fans right in the front of the stage and they had posters with "Modi ab raj karengey, JoshiJi tyaag karengey" written on it. You might know that Amit Shah is the final authority on every single detail of Modi's rallies in UP so he decides details like who gets to sit right in front of the main state (because these people will be in direct view of all the leaders on the main stage). Do you think he didn't know about Modi fans sitting there with posters against Joshi? It is a planned attack on the senior leaders by Modi supporters on the outside and by Modi/Rajnath Singh inside the party - both see the seniors as danger because in case Modi becomesvthe PM, they will ask a lot of uncomfortable whenever he takes a wrong decision or when he tries to ignore other leaders on all important matters(as he does in Gujarat) or if BJP doesn't get enough seats then Rajnath Singh is setting himself up for being the consensus candidate for PM - again, all the seniors all completely against him because he has pretty much destroyed the party in many major states (especially in UP) by giving important positions to his supporters and thus creating more and more factionalism. Yeah, right.....LK Advani and MM Joshi have joined the BJP today only..
bulbul Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 S!=G,you are twisting words. Even AAP supporters doesn't want some candidates in some constituency. SO does other parties. Question is why MM Joshi or Advani silently move away or go with RS route..seriously they were the leaders in last 2 embarrassing results. If left to them BJP shouldn't have been projected to cross even 140 seats this time. If not Modi drama queen Kejri should have eaten BJP alive. If Modi wants some people to move away so be it [still we don't have any proof that Modi is behind all these, candidate is not even announced yet] Thing is this is politics after sometime every one has to move,it will be same for Modi if he didn't get results this time.End of day Party winning is bit more important than few personal ego's.
bulbul Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 LK - 86 years MM - 80 years. Sorry if some one asked them to vacate seats , no wrong in that. ps : Seats are still not decided,so we can wait for more bashing :icflove:
Sachin=GOD Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 According to news reports, in today's central election committee meeting Rajanth Singh had a heated argument with MM Joshi and Sushma Swaraj,. Apparantly Sushma Swaraj said that if there really was such a Modi wave in the country then all leaders should contest from their own seats instead of looking for safe seats (Rajnath Singh, currently MP from Ghaziabad, is asking for the Lucknow seats because AAP is quite strong in ghaziabad).
Roshanrocks Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 :hmmm: If BJP self destruct and Kejriwal u-turns... Kangress might stealthily come back to power
Sachin=GOD Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 :hmmm: If BJP self destruct and Kejriwal u-turns... Kangress might stealthily come back to power the fact that such senior leaders have the freedom to voice their opinions against each other is one of the strongest points of the BJP IMO. At least for now they have this freedom, if Modi does become the PM then they most certainly will not have this much of freedom to say anything against him - we have seen what happens to those who oppose him in Gujarat. As for Cong - they will most certainly win their lowest seats yet but I think they are slowly coming back.
bulbul Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 S!=G,you still didnt responded why 80/90 years old seniors want to contest elections?
Sachin=GOD Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 S!=G' date='you still didnt responded why 80/90 years old seniors want to contest elections?[/quote'] why shouldn't they?
sachin34357 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Why does Modi need Varanasi seat when he can contest from one of the fifteen seats currently held by BJP?
Raghav_12 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 S!=G' date='you still didnt responded why 80/90 years old seniors want to contest elections?[/quote'] If being young is only criteria than Modi would concede PM post to Rahul Gandhi, who is full 20 years younger to him. Narendra Modi is also no young chicken by any stretch of imagination. If Advani and Joshi are physically capable, I don't see a reason for which they should not contest election.
Raghav_12 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 According to news reports' date=' in today's central election committee meeting Rajanth Singh had a heated argument with MM Joshi and Sushma Swaraj,. Currently she is MP from Vidisha (MP) which is BJP's ( Shivraj Singh Chauhan's) traditional seat in MP and has no connection with Sushma Swaraj.
ravishingravi Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 S!=G' date='you still didnt responded why 80/90 years old seniors want to contest elections?[/quote'] Why shouldn't they ? Of course it shouldn't be up to them.
bulbul Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Excatly my point..party will tell them where to contest or not.. What i am saying is they shouldnt get disppointed or start rebellion at this stage when they already got everythign from party. It's not like they were neglected before.
bulbul Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 It's nothing to do with young or old, my point is they got all benefits from party already,so now they ahve to listen to what party/party workers say. End of day what is best for party matters.....atleast from young/relatively young we can expcet soemthing in future for party..what can 80/90 year olds offer to party in future? ps: let us not make this respect debate...this is nothing to do with respcet/honor etc...only way is retirement at this age :two_thumbs_up:
Sachin=GOD Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Excatly my point..party will tell them where to contest or not.. What i am saying is they shouldnt get disppointed or start rebellion at this stage when they already got everythign from party. It's not like they were neglected before. If the party will tell LK Advani and MM Joshi from where they should contest then the same should apply to Modi/Rajanth Singh, right? But it seems that they have made their decision and are now trying to force it upon the party against the wishes of many senior leaders. Modi is quite popular in Gujarat and has worked his entire political career in Gujarat so why does he need to come to UP (don't tell me that it will rejuvenate the party workers there because it will only end up with more and more senior state leaders and workers, instead of working in their own areas, being deployed to Varanasi to ensure a big win for Modi). As for Rajnath Singh - he never was a mass leader and has no home base. Even in 2009 he ensured that there was virtually no opposition to him by getting into a deal with Mulayam Singh. This time there is a threat from AAP in Ghaziabad so he is planning to run away from there as well - if he is such a "big" leader as he is trying to portray himself through the media then he should contest from Ghaziabad. Dekhtey hain kitna dum hai...
The Outsider Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 60 year old is now young according to Modi fanboyzz. Wait till 2+2 = 5 if chaiwala gandit says so and look at fanboyzz agreeing to that as well. :hysterical:
bulbul Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 ^I hope you understand party is in current state mainly because of Modi,he is the PM candidate so he will get preference over other leaders.others has to adjuts because they depending on party, which is lead by Modi. why it's so difficult to understand this? end of day who is going to get you more votes is what maters. Do you really think MM Joshi can get more than 2/3 seats for BJP? do you think LK can contribute more than 10/15 seats? do you think Sushma can contibute any seats other than hers? so major contribuion is by one & only guy and grassroot workers keep their hope on him, what's wrong in giving him free hand? I don't care who is leading or who is marginalized all i want is result :two_thumbs_up:
