Sachin=GOD Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Looks like the entire loonyville is descending on Ayodhya. Missing in action Uma Bharti and Saadhvi Rithambara. :hysterical: Umar Bharti is now a MLA from UP so she most certainly will be there.

ganeshran Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Narendra Modi likely to visit Ayodhya; to pray at disputed site http://ibnlive.in.com/news/narendra-modi-likely-to-visit-ayodhya-to-pray-at-disputed-site/399566-37-64.html So the dear leader doesn't have new ideas to rejuvenate the party and is going back to the Ram Mandir issue... Yup, I guess the gameplan is to revive the Ram Mandir issue and try to issue some controversial statements. Too bad no one really cares about it anymore
Sachin=GOD Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 How on earth is this coalition going to come even close to 180 votes as claimed by seedhi? Even the best case scenario falls short of that number. And any chance of post poll alliances materializing needs a minimum of 200 seats. Without UP there is absolutely no chance that BJP can come to power. TRS is a part of NDA?? If it is then that means a few seats from AP are sureshot.
Sachin=GOD Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Togadia is usually a Modi baiter :hmmm: His love for Lord Ram is greater than his hate of NaMo :giggle:

That was 5 years ago, I am not sure what their current position is. Most probably would not be a pre poll alliance but they are open to either side which gives a concrete promise of Telangana.

I am sure Cong will provide some sort of a solution for the Telengana issue before the elections both to get the support of TRS and to get some votes there for their party otherwise they'll get a big anda in telengana.
The Outsider Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Togadia is usually a Modi baiter :hmmm: Yeah, must be that Amit Shah's idea to revive ties with VHP and rake up Ayodhya in order to gain votes in UP. :adore:
ganeshran Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Yeah' date=' must be that Amit Shah's idea to revive ties with VHP and rake up Ayodhya in order to gain votes in UP. :adore:[/quote'] Most likely. The Modi camp has realized the only chance they have on winning the elections is by flaming communal passions.
Sachin=GOD Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Most likely. The Modi camp has realized the only chance they have on winning the elections is by flaming communal passions. then they have completely misread the mindset of the people. In the 2012 Assembly Elections BJP lost Ayodhya seat - it had been held by BJP's Lallu Singh for the past 20 years. If the people of Ayodhya are tired of this issue then imagine what the rest of the country feels.

If the people of Ayodhya are tired of this issue then imagine what the rest of the country feels. Religious leaders on both sides are carrying on the conflict because they dont want to appear weaker to the opposing party. Among the masses, Ayodhya hardly merits any discussion now. But all that could change if there is a violent incident again at the site. Ironically it was Rajiv Gandhi who during his soft Hindutva days opened the temple gates and rekindled the conflict, and then Narasimha Rao decided to look the other way while there were plans were being made for Babri to be demolished.
King Tendulkar Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Under modi the bjps overall votes imo will go up. He is hugley popular. Problem is that they or no other party can get overall majority. They need coilition partners. Any partners like N Kumar will not align with BJP now as they are worried about their muslim vote bank in their states and do not want to upset them.

someone Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Well I thought JDU was hypocrites but seems like there is a lot of hypocrisy going around from those Modi haters. They just hate Modi so much that everything is being translated as "blow to Modi". Whatever he does in past or now means controversy for them and really a lot of delusional minds out. And irrespective of one liking or disliking Modi, Modi is a big relevance in 2014 elections and will play a role in it. Congress are still in denials about it publicly but are very much aggressively campaigning against him. This time, the agenda will be around Modi, not Congress for a change at least.
someone Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Narendra Modi’s march continues For a while now, strange stories about Lal Krishna Advani have circulated on Delhi’s political grapevine. Stories of how visitors to his house in Prithviraj Road are obliged to watch the latest documentaries made by his daughter before they can discuss anything political. Modi is hated by most journalists working in the national media so they have taken great pleasure in pronouncing that if he can have such a polarising effect within his own party, he will certainly destroy the NDA (National Democratic Alliance). No sooner did Advani take back his resignation letter than the English news channels began to speculate about when Nitish Kumar would withdraw the Janata Dal (United) from the alliance. There is the additional problem that most political pundits from academia are even more leftist than us hacks so they hate Modi even more than we do. They say this is because of what happened in Gujarat in 2002 but you only need to scratch a little to discover that beneath that veneer lies the real reason. They hate Modi most of all because he has been articulating an economic vision for India that is the direct opposite of the one that the Congress Party has followed for most of its years in power. They hate the way in which he talks about aiming for a prosperous India instead of just one in which poverty removal is the goal. And, to demolish his ideas they spout so-called statistics that seek to prove that Gujarat has not done as well as Modi says it has. Any casual visitor to Gujarat cannot fail to notice the new roads and the new prosperity in the villages but academics rarely bother to travel out of Delhi so they base their opinions on information that they claim is from the Planning Commission. Modi’s political opponents choose to attack him differently by asserting as often as possible that he has been chief minister of a state that has always been prosperous so no credit should go to him. Modi is the first major political leader since Jawaharlal Nehru who has articulated a clear economic vision. It is a vision that is almost the exact opposite of the one that Nehru believed in and it is this that attracts young people in our cities because it is a vision of prosperity in which he emphasizes governance rather than government. Indian businessmen are drawn to Gujarat exactly because he has succeeded in implementing his ideas in that state so that it has become a place that is investor friendly at a time when investors are fleeing our shores in search of friendlier climes. Good article on how and why there is so much irrelevant noise.
bulbul Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Now Modi should start defining plans and promoting them aggressively. Also have to remove some of the old faces from campaigning.
someone Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Yup, I guess the gameplan is to revive the Ram Mandir issue and try to issue some controversial statements. :giggle: If Modi visits Ayodhya, he is going back to Hindutva but if the so called secular leaders visit Haj, it's well secular. Dumbo logic there Also interesting yet no surprise, that in the original article, how they cleverly removed that the purpose was for "Amrit Mahotsava".
