yeah' date=' the Gujarat Riots were a "minute detail" and the top police officials/ministers calling the CMO 30-40 times (in Gujarat Riots and other cases) was also not enough to get the get attention of the great administrator.[/quote'] what they spoke after calling 30/40 times ? I am not saying Guj riots are minute detail ,its started due to some reason right? By seeing history how well these kind of riots controlled in past you cannot simply blame Modi alone. If these events happened first time no one should have right to suppoort Modi ,but people already saw nothing happened to people who are directly accused in such cases then why assume some one guilty just becauise of kansiracy.

S-G, I am expecting you to be more honest than jholiwallahs here. Tell me, any leader who has been interrogated more stringently than Modi in a riots case. Also, I am not defending his innocence. But I do believe law has thrown kitchen sink at him. And just because "I THINK", "I FEEL" that he is guilty, he should not be prosecuted.
Sure, I agree that he has been interrogated more than all other leaders but that was bound to happen with a Congress Govt. at the Centre and Modi being increasingly popular within the BJP. with me its not a matter of "I THINK or I FEEL" - I've seen the working of state administration from close and its very obvious that it is simply impossible for riots of that scale to have happened without the support of the CM. You obviously know a lot about the riots so you would also know that in many places in wasn't just random acts of killing but it was systematic, organized murder - such things do not happen on their own without the knowledge of the CM and the administration.

obviously they wouldn't have discussed the weather :winky: Modi is supposed to be the "bestest" administrator around so how was it that when riots of such magnitude happened in his state, he wasn't in control? that is one logic I just fail to understand - what you basically mean is that if A commits a crime and gets away with it then B should also get away (or atleast he shouldn't be asked to take responsibility or shouldn't be hounded by the media) with it.

just because you think like Sherlock doesnt mean Modi has to go to jail :winky: you wrote about whether they spoke about weather who knows they wanted more police force to control riots in particular place.

Yes, but where do you stop with that line of argument. By that logic even burning of karsevaks should be brought under scrutiny for Modi's involvement. Wasn't that planned and systementic enough ? Again, as I said, I need to know. I can have inkling, I can be suspicious, but I really need to know somethings, to nail somebody.

ravishing ji (what kind of a delusional persona calls himself ravishing anyway, but anyhow) you are perfectly in sync with the expectations I had from a chaddhiwaala. :nice:

In the case of Gujarat 2002 riots, if there was either "support" or "knowledge" - Modi should be shunted out forever.

so if he's guilty he shouldn't be prosecuted just because it would look like a political gimmick :hmmm:
by all means prosecute him, there is enough to put him on trail. but will the crimes of Rajiv Gandhi, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Bal Thackeray, Jagdish Titler etc be punished too? The time to go after Modi was right after 2002 riots, but Congress snoozed through oblivious (like many) to Modi personality cult growth, now all the Congi dogs are pissing their pants and acting like all angelic when they themselves have blood on their hands. First fix your house in order, then it will be easy peasy going after Modi.

in either case he's not fit enough to be the PM candidate' date=' let alone the PM.[/quote'] Any Indian can become PM.

as I said earlier - the fact that one person has not been caught for a crime does not mean that the judiciary should go easy on another person.

not if that Indian was in any way involved in the riots.
ideally,yes..but in the present india particularly with the large presence of vacuous and dirty politicians, even tainted guys can become PM

you are right if he is proved guilty, until then he is as much as PM candidate as anyone else.

you are right if he is proved guilty' date='until then he is as much as PM candidate as anyone else.[/quote'] even if he wasn't involved in the riots there is already enough evidence to suggest gross negligence on his part to control and effectively handle the situation - I wouldn't want such a man to be the PM.

Yeah, the Deewar logic - "Jaao pehle us aadmi ka sign le kar aao jisne mere baap se sign liya tha". :hysterical:

I wish you are not an Indian citizen.

come on what judiciary, this has become a congress funded witch hunt. first congress need to set an example and rid themselves of all tainted by communal violence and other illegal activities, including severing ties with political allies involved in similar acts. the cliché, ''lead by example'' will do wonders for the beleaguered congress party.
