thanks man' date=' there is so much to see. Should I get there really early or will I be able to cover everything if we get there by mid day ?[/quote'] Go early. The area surrounding Niagara Falls has lots to offer. There is a casino, helicopter/hot balloon rides. I also visited the butterfly conservatory there. Wouldn't really be a bad idea to even stay at NF overnight... something you could consider. I did. :--D

Dude, stay at Niagra overnight. We stayed at the Embassy Suites with a great view of the falls, it was amazing. Tunnel behind the falls is a must IMO (along with ofc the famous Maid of the Mist boat ride which practically takes you into the falls or close). Don't think you can do justice to Niagra with a day trip from Toronto. Need to soak in the Ambiance.

Saravana bhavan , Anjappar, Udupi, Dosa place. All awesome south places. Never liked any north Indian restaurants here, especially the Punjabi ones (They do not have the same taste). Go watch fireworks tonight. There is also ribfest till 11:00 pm tonight.

BTW if anyone is planning to stay overnight on the Canadian side of Niagara, I recommend the Embassy Suites, with a room facing the falls. They have also have free breakfast buffet, which you can have with the view of the falls. :two_thumbs_up:

Forget Indian restaurants, try out some local cuisine. Oh wait, there isn't any in Canada :phehehe:
How dare you. They have mashed potatoes and bread and salad ...with some salt :--D

LOL, bit of an anti - climax there :winky: Just came back from Melbourne the other day, the return flight was delayed as we were fogged in :whack: What fun it is to sit in the airport twiddling your thumbs.

Spent the whole day and evening at Niagra. Left after mid night, what an experience totally worth every penny Ps: food is too expensive :hitler: 8 bucks for a freaking hot dog

better than me- I craved for kabobs and spent $18/kabaob in this horrible afghani place food tasted crap- kabobs were like cutting through plastic; breakfast at IHOP was $20/omlette plus 2 different kinds of taxes Niagra city pays for itself through businesses and thats why prices are so high- thats what we were told
