Another query: Was Hadlee any good with reverse swing ? Or simply didn't need that ?

I can't remember him using reverse swing. With old balls he would bowl great cutters, both leg and off. Hadlee was the original Mcgrath, he would come very close to the stumps, almost to the point where his bowling hand could hit the popping crease. From there he would land the ball almost on a dime on the off-stump. Even the best batsman would be confused which direction the ball would swing, seam, cut, should he go forward, backward etc.
