yes ... in the case of MoYo and YK .. many of those runs have been scored on complete pattas in PAK .. having said that MoYo has been in sublime form everywhere ... YK cooled off a lil in England. I am hoping that the law of averages kicks in vis-a-vis YK.

Well we shouldnt forget India lost to Bangladesh and Srilanka as well. India went with full strength squad and with many many hope but Pakistan went without their best bowlers and Abdul Razzaq so everybody wrote them off. Best bowlers from Pak were barred from going because they were caught with drugs in their peshaab by your own cricket board PCB. Abdul Razzaq didn't go, because he was dropped. Atleast India lost to full-time ICC member nations and not to weekend cricketers as put by your famous cricketers (Imran Khan)!

Come on Faisal. An average of 53 is still very good. However we see it in a context. Were they scored in high scoring matches or low scoring matches and such things!
You are right Chandan.Let me rephrase by saying that in Moyo's case an average of 53 isn't too special because a lot of those runs came on very very flat pitches.

No, he messed up his knee and was ruled out for a good 6 weeks.

Irland was better team than Bangladesh. Irland finished 7th and Bangladesh 8th in WC. Bangladesh who won against India a full time ICC member nation was lost to Irland.Remember?so which team was better?Bangladesh or Irland???

but yar aise bat ki jae to sab choro kamran is the best batsman among two teams isnt it? his 2 hundreds one at mohali and other at Karachi will be remebered for a long long time bro. look his stats against India Mat Runs HS BatAv 100 50 W BB BowlAv 5w Ct St unfiltered 33 1521 154 29.82 4 5 - - - - 108 18 filtered 8 497 113 45.18 3 1 - - - - 23 8 that´s great isnt it?

If Pak can get 60+ start from the openers then they have a good middle order to build on a start. Asif is the only bowler who has the potential to consistantly create problems for Indian batsman, Kaneria , gul will shine once in a while but nothing to worry. For me the key is what kind of series Akhtar has, yes we can bash him as much as we want but deep down most of us know on his day he can be lethal. From Indian pov if we can get rid of Pak openers quickly, keep YK and MY in check and give required respect to Akhtar and Asif when they have the new ball, we will be fine.

Yeshe has been very good, his innings at Karachi will be remembered for deacdes.

i dont think Naved will play ... i imagine they will play Gul instead ... a lot depends on who is actually fit come November. With fast bowlers these days who knows
