adi B Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Spain play just like Barca :P spain are noway near barca, they do not steal the ball from the opposition as barca do, spain rest on scoring the 1st goal and then win 1-0 or 2-0...i have seen many teams destroying spain in matches by dominating them in play nd position like argentina nd portugal beat em 4-0...many teams have 44,45 %possession vs spain,heck the italians yesterday had 50%possession vs spain, noone in the world can have that much possession and chances to score vs barca, although the spanish defense is superior to barca`s.. yesterday was just a rape, not much could have been done, the ideal way to play spain is like croatia did, flood the midfield, look to score on ****er or set pieces, if u have a physically strong side, spain will struggle

There is sufficient evidence of correlation between economy and sports ( being successful in general sports). And yes, win in a major sport as soccer, does bring cheer to the nation.
