Sachin ball tampering evidence?

I'll probably get killed for this thread but I wanted to know if the infamous Sachin ball tampering video *actually* exists, I get a LOT of requests for it, its easily the most requested video on my channel, but I'm not sure footage is really out there? Its impossible to find, having not seen it myself since news reports at the time I also wanted to know what the opinion of it was from you folk, obviously a spiteful series with Denness, but from my memory that one incident of ball tampering looked pretty obvious.

during the the south african series i presume, if i remember correctly the condition were damp it had rained before, lots of dust, mud was getting in seam and sachin was removing it with his nails without trying to conceal in any manner. it was just one those thing where you realize " oh wait wat the hell am i doing? this can be taken the wrong way "

Well from *memory* there is no story to believe, it was clear as can be tampering. It looked weird, as why wold Sachin do it so blatantly out in the open??? I know i taped some news highlights back then but can't find any footage, I've been looking for months. I recall Tony Greig having a go at Sachin on tv, i know i have that somewhere, but where.......

There are pictures of it, I think. But presume you best ask this question on a Pakistani forum. They probably have 100 page investigation report with conclusive video evidence fully decked out.

Maybe unrelated' date=' but I think you've uploaded Sehwag's excessive appealing from the same game?[/quote'] Nah not me. Well I don't think it was me anyway!

I remember that footage quite vividly. Sachin used the flesh on his thumb (he never has nails due to his habit of biting them always) to "clean" the seam of the ball. Technically, this isn't allowed but I'm sure Tendulkar wasn't the first one to do it and nor will be the last one. Mike Denness just wanted some media time.

Some facts - Incident happened when Sachin was bowling and the ball was relatively new (14th or 15th over of SA 2nd innings on day 3 of the test match). - The new ball was swinging and seaming all over. SA were 30 off for 3 or 4 wickets down. - Even Ganguly and Sachin moved the new ball appreciably. - The pitch was damp due to overnight rain and there was no chance of any reverse swing whatsoever. Now of all matches, why would Sachin pick the seam off the ball under these circumstances? What he did was illegal and should have informed the umpire before cleaning the ball. Even the punishment handed out was not incorect (one match suspended ban) .But to call that as trying to pick seam off the ball is ridiculous. As for the furor created post the incident, it had more to do with Dennes the Menace, banning and fining half of our side. Sachin banned for ball tampering Sehwag on his debut series was banned for over appealing SS Das, Bhajji and Deep Dasgupta were fined for over appealing Ganguly was banned for not being able to control his players! Ideally Mennes should have banned the entire team if he hated them all.

Here comes the idiot again. No, despite your wet dreams, Sachin did not tamper the ball. ICC also issues a statement about it. But hey, continue with your fantasies on Sachin. BTW it was your favorite Dravid who was indeed found guilty of tampering

Einstein is back :yay: Probably only thing sachin did it for our the team and not for himself was tampering the ball :--D Now sachinstas want everyone to agree that sachin is the ideal human being ever roamed in this milky way galaxy. If sachin is honest he might have payed his taxes properly in the first time itself. :nono:
