At this point my WC team would be... Sehwag/Rahane Gambhir Kohli Rohit Yuvraj Dhoni Raina Irfan Ashwin Ishant Umesh (or maybe replace Rohit with Awana or any of the leading pacer at the time). Poor bowling attack. Very poor even though it is early days. Apart from Ashwin, no one else is guaranteed to finish their overs. I know you are banking on pace and bounce of Aus pitches but these players are not our best ODI bowlers currently.

But as someone said above .. India will play 7 batsmen in Australia in WC and if Pathan has to get in the team he has to do so as a bowler.. Now as you say he can be very good with the bat at the lower order.. But what I am worried is what he will do with his bowling at the death overs.. If he is able to retain the swing till 2015 good enough else we need to find someone else sooner than later ..maybe give solid batting tips to VK or PK and groom them as All Rounders.. Bu you are right we will definitely do well without Jadeja in Aus. In fact we did great without him in India too last WC.

Please Ishant in your ODI team for WC?? Had not read the list .. Please even Nehra will be better than Ishant in ODIs

Spot Fixing Spot for Ishant that is.. Coz you don't have much faith in him and thus will surpise you with his stellar performances. OTOH I am expecting Ishant to be our go to bowler by the time WC arrives and that's why the vote of confidence and a berth in the team :--D

That means we will still kick some Paki @$$ and who knows if we are lucky we will face Pakis, Loins or SA in semis allowing us to get to one more finals
