Season 4 spoilers

I wish Joffrey had suffered a bit more, or at least died by Jon Snow hacking his head off. But this would do. Jack Gleeson, the actor who plays him, bloody excellent. Now we know why Tyrion is on trial in the trailer.

You can't have porno, duels and gore in every episode, they need to pay some heed to the story as well. :winky: Sitcoms usually have more than 10 episodes. Series like GOT, True Detective, B.Bad, Dexter etc usually don't have more than 8-10 episodes per season.

But see, Walking Dead's Seasons are usually divided into two sets. In Season 3 and 4 there was a huge gap between Ep.5 & the other 4; 9 in total, IIRC. 1st season had around 5 episodes and 2nd had around 8. Also, GOT's production is quiet different and miles tougher than the rest.

I am going to be depressed when the next 3 episodes are over. Can't wait for 2 weeks for the next one.
LOL. Dont worry buddy, atleast you have 2 more seasons to look forward to. I've been 'depressed' since the last two years, having been stuck in post book 5 land...

I disagree, they are not dragging in, infact, this season is the only one where it feels close to the spirit of the books. It depends on how you look at it, I've personally found the inter-personal dynamics and their evolution to be highly fascinating and very intelligently written, more so than the political & military rammifications/developments. The latter category is great eye candy but big part of life- infact the biggest- is living with people. And that is where inter-personal dynamics and its evolution is ultimately, so much more fascinating to me than who conquered what/how ( they too are fascinating, dont get me wrong but secondary and almost a spin-off of the interpersonal dynamics). This series has so far seen an excellent development of personal dynamics. The Arya-Hound angle is beautiful. The author brilliantly skirts around the 'Stockholm syndrome' and presents a 'different reality' on the growing warmth & love between Arya and the Hound. ( dont get any ideas, by love i mean strictly speaking, the caring sense of the two towards each other). It is extremely well written and not entirely difficult to see how arya and the hound both care for each other's well being and worth, having started off in such adversarial positions. The Cersei-Jamie-Tyrion angle is extremely well written too. A microcosm of the fractured relationships between the three and why: Cersei simply beginning to hate Tyrion due to her mother's death, jamie always having a soft spot for Tyrion precisely due to that- again, very well written. The angle of Bailish is pretty intreaguing as well and well written. So far, this season has my vote for the best season yet.

Drag everything too much .... and they have only 10 Episodes to show per Season ..... :dontknow:
Dragging? The dialogues and interaction have been wonderful. No action can beat that 5 minute interaction between Oberyn and Tyrion
