Sehwag unfortunately now doesn't belong in international cricket. It would be a mistake picking him for the New Zealand series and the following World T20s. And maybe who knows, dropping him might just be the tonic he needs to push himself to get fit, focus and determined to get into the England series through some excellent performances in the early Ranji season.

True, very fanciful, the last time he got dropped due to a similar poor run he was young. This time, by the time NZ series arrives Sewhag will be 34!!, So (ego aside) he probably won't see it worthwhile to play Ranji to prove a point and get back into the Test side for the England series. If he gets picked, especially England series, I just hope the yearning for vengeance and redemption against the English is very strong within him in after last year's humiliation in England, especially for him personally, king pair :facepalm:.

Sehwag does have this "I don't give a damn" attitude thats a bit annoying at times. There is no questioning his skills.. but it's great when Sehwag plays with that attitude and scores runs.. he is perceived as the ultimate destroyer of bowlers BECAUSE of that attitude.. but like a double edged sword.. the same attitude is questioned.. when he fails a number of times because of the attitude. Sehwag has to intrinsically change in order to harness his strength in a consistent and effective way.. until then.. we just have to deal with him.
