The last flicker of the genius, before it eventually vanished (1942 Love Story). Parinda had some great songs, specially for the kind of dark movie it was. Somehow I always think Vishal Bhardwaj was chasing these songs in his creations for RGV Verma's Satya. t3LLZwFnhCk

I don't have confirmed sources but what i've read/heard blows my mind on RD's genius:

During the recording of Hum Dono Do Premi (Ajnabee) the musicians were on strike. So he improvised the song with emptied-out musical interludes.
