There are lot of comments test cricket is dying, not much results.. blah blah.. fact is we play more tests in this era than ever.. we produce more results in this era than ever.

Lot of draws. I think it's pretty well known that cricket in 80s was too attritional, especially Ind-Pak where you barely saw 200 runs scored in a day.
jairamesh Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 We are seeing more runs, higher run-rates, more wickets, lower bowling strike rates...and definitely more results than ever. Can't complain. Test cricket seems in pretty healthy shape on the field compared to some of the other decades.
