If batsmen get opportunities, why not bowlers?

I am sick and tired of dhoni and team managements two faced approach towards talent, if Rohit Sharma & Ravindra Jadeja can get so many opportunities on the basis if sheer "Talent", then what doesn't Umesh Yadav get the same ammo from the selectors, captain & management??

Rohit's failures were covered up to an extent by the success of other batters, but since all our bowlers suck,a couple of poor performances are enought to get the boot

To be fair to them, they kept playing Ishant/Bhajji in the hope they find their bowling form again. Also, Umesh, being at the start of his int'l career, they need to manage his workload and he should not play all the ODIs till he has established himself as a test bowler (which is where we need him the most).

Rohit is looking at a break from the international scene and Yadav will likely return for the fifth ODI. There is not some conspiracy against fast bowlers - stop thinking that there is.

Let me put it this way,a young batsmen can be given more chances even if he fails because there are other guys who can win the game for u,but when 3 bowlers are going for 6 rpo,a guy who goes at 7 rpo will be dropped regardless of his potential. We just can afford it in the bowling dept
