Sean Bradley Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I am sick and tired of dhoni and team managements two faced approach towards talent, if Rohit Sharma & Ravindra Jadeja can get so many opportunities on the basis if sheer "Talent", then what doesn't Umesh Yadav get the same ammo from the selectors, captain & management??
Old guy Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 asked same question myself ...lol im not even gonna comment abt it anymore :cantstop:
GautiMaan Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Rohit's failures were covered up to an extent by the success of other batters, but since all our bowlers suck,a couple of poor performances are enought to get the boot
saneindian Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 To be fair to them, they kept playing Ishant/Bhajji in the hope they find their bowling form again. Also, Umesh, being at the start of his int'l career, they need to manage his workload and he should not play all the ODIs till he has established himself as a test bowler (which is where we need him the most).

Rohit is looking at a break from the international scene and Yadav will likely return for the fifth ODI. There is not some conspiracy against fast bowlers - stop thinking that there is.
GautiMaan Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 But logically we need a bowler more than a No. 4 batsmen. Let me put it this way,a young batsmen can be given more chances even if he fails because there are other guys who can win the game for u,but when 3 bowlers are going for 6 rpo,a guy who goes at 7 rpo will be dropped regardless of his potential. We just can afford it in the bowling dept
Cricket Tragic Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 If they were so unfair towards the bowlers, Issssshhhhhhannnnnt wouldn't have played so many tests.
Pagalpanti Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Looks like for some people bashing Dhoni is a favourite past time, even if we're winning.
vamos_rafa Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 ^Correct. We just love cooking up kaanspirancies don't we?
CSK Fan Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 But Rohit is tailunted and Yadav is not. Big difference
