How can this discussion be complete without one Mr.Jimmy Adams :D Want to know his record against India ? 3 matches , 520 runs, Ave - 173.33 , 2 50's and 2 100's ! In that series against India , he was like the rock of Gibraltar.

But to score 520 runs in a 3 test match series is just mind-numbing. I remember watching that series live. He was like this stone wall at which you kept throwing tennis balls. Had absolutely no effect on him , the Indian bowling.

I actually am a fan of Shiv C. He has to be the most schizophrenic batsman around - absolute stonewaller in tests, and goes crazy with those leg-side pulls in odis. Most other batsmen play their odi innings slightly faster than tests, but this guy is different. In fact, it would be interesting to see if he has the maximum difference in strike rates between odi and test innings (criteria- a decent number of runs, say 2000 - otherwise people like Agarkar will sour the picture)- one for BB to compute. Tonight. And, if indeed my hunch is proved right, Shiv C can be renamed Schiz C
