Number Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 All are aaya ram gaya ram without even the slightest desire to fight it out  tbh, we gotta give some credit to Yadav. He really looked determined to stay there and supported Ashwin. Probably he should bat above Zaheer.
carnish Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 tests. in odis with pathan in we prolly have one of the strongest tails. Ok. Although I still dont agree with strongest tail in ODIs. English and Saffers have a better tail.
jairamesh Posted September 2, 2012 Author Posted September 2, 2012 Does India have one of the worst opening pair? Number suggests so. Since Jan 1, 2011 No code has to be inserted here. 3 sixes by most attacking and exciting opening pair in the world. That average includes Dravid's heroic inning in which he carried the bat. We basically have a toothless dog with no wagging tail, i.e. a dud. :giggle:
Ultimate_Game Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Everyone below number 6 is part of the tail except Ashwin. All are aaya ram gaya ram without even the slightest desire to fight it out  Yes, our no. 7 is a walking wkt but our no. 4 is the knight in shining armor :hysterical:
deathmonger Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Ok. Although I still dont agree with strongest tail in ODIs. English and Saffers have a better tail. saffers?
SLICKR392 Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 you guys have better batting lineup than BD and pakistan so dont make such comments Anyways, apart from ashwin the bowlers have been crap, with both bat and ball. Even if we rank above them, we are below par.
SLICKR392 Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 saffers? ++ Saffers tail is no big threat. England has the best tail and so does the windies.
jairamesh Posted September 2, 2012 Author Posted September 2, 2012 ++ Saffers tail is no big threat. England has the best tail and so does the windies. WIndies definitely, I think in a recent ODI vs NZ, 10 off the WI line-up had at least one ODI 50 to their name!!.
Executioner Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Ojha has been crap with the ball ... You must be joking ... He is way better than Shakib and Rehman  No way is ojha better than shakib in the bowling department. Shakib has 9 five wicket hauls and ojha has 2. And i wasnt being specific though. Ojha has done ok

He aint much better than Shakib but considering he has Ashwin who takes many wickets before him while shakib has no competitor he is better. Plus he has less games .. will improve.
Ultimate_Game Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 And there was a time Zak could be relied to hang on and even score some runs. He has a top score of 75 in Tests and even a 50 against Aus IIRC. What did suddenly go wrong for Zak to plumb such depths. IMO it all started when Zak and SRT changed their hair styles post WC as if they are undergoind a mid-life crisis and since then both of them have not been the same. I hope they revert to their old hair-styles and start performing the way they used to prior to their makeover
