superstar Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Hahaha....What next apology from our great mod alooo for ICF'ers making fun of the govt??
Trichromatic Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 “More and more, he has become a tragic figure in our history,” said political historian Ramachandra Guha. The historian told the Caravan, an Indian magazine, last year that Singh had been fatally handicapped by “timidity, complacency and intellectual dishonesty.’’ He was called tragic figure by Ramchandra Guha. :hmmm:
JaFanatic Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 why should they apologise for publishing the truth?:omg:

Trichromatic Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Ka ILU ILU than indo ke beech mein ? Those who remember the 70s recall Ambika as a perfect mix of beauty and brains. Ū have, said Amarinder Singh, former CM of Punjab, ÅÔeen her since the Youth Congress days. She was young, perky and highly intelligent. If she said you were her friend, then she would back you through thick and thin. I have watched her mature from a young girl to an experienced politician. Ambika struck many with her looks and guts. She was among the few who could walk beside Sanjay Gandhi instead of following him around. In the Youth Congress, she not only shared the dais with Sanjay but sufficiently matched his aggression. If Sanjay was a politician in a hurry to get things done, Ambika rarely faulted on delivery.
Swing_n_Speed Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 My reaction would have been same if the article was in Al-Jazeera. Inb4 selfloathing accusation. True dat. Ambika Soni should maybe get Mid-day to criticize the Obama's then? Perhaps they could critique the color combo of hr latest outfit?:cantstop: On a serious note though our journos should totally report facts about the US gov. Just facts. That in itself would rake up considerable muck on them. PS I'll be damned if Al Jazz-era starts starts critiquing our gov..........Wait a min. Do they? I dnt bother following them. But I wouldn't put it past them. They certainly have the arrogance do to so.
G_B_ Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 calling a spade a spade MMS was a puppet in somebody else's hand anyways. I bet he asks for permission from the Gandhi clan before going to the toilet.
Crookbond Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Here's an awesome bit of news. It looks like some parts of the Washington Post article were plagiarized. :hysterical: :hysterical: The article now carries a "correction" Correction: An earlier version of this article failed to credit the Caravan, an Indian magazine, for two statements that it originally published in 2011. The assertion by Sanjaya Baru, a former media adviser, that Singh had become an object of ridicule and endured the worst period in his life first appeared in the Caravan, as did an assertion by Ramachandra Guha, a political historian, that Singh was handicapped by his “timidity, complacency and intellectual dishonesty.” While both men told The Post that the assertions could accurately be attributed to them, the article should have credited the Caravan when it used or paraphrased the remarks. The article has been updated. http://wearethebest.wordpress.com/2012/09/06/manmohan-washington-post-the-caravan/
G_B_ Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Fareed Zakaria is in hot water for not acknowledging his real sources maybe the reporter in the Washington post needs to face a similar ordeal. even though what he has written is true. Its still ripping off other people's work.

G_B_ Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 it did cause some controversy though and he was suspended for some time.
Sachin=GOD Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 chori aur upar se seena jori :wall: :wall: and talking of apology - this bleddy Govt should apologize to the people of India for what they have done to the country in the last 8 years.
