cricketnns Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 OK, Sanga has also won the People's choice award too! :hatsoff:
1983-2011 Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 And why not Amla?! he hadnt played enough matches compared to kohli and sanga hence his run tally was low compared to them
SLICKR392 Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Philander as a bowler had much better numbers than Sanga as a batsman
SLICKR392 Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Twitter- Sangakarra average in Tests during voting period. 60 at Home 30 Away 44 vs Aus 8 vs Eng 30 vs SA 111 vs Pak
Sid Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 lolz, was this ceremony held to please Lankan public :cantstop:
Sid Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Asad Rauf deserved it more,he performed well both on as well as off the field...
Executioner Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Asad Rauf deserved it more' date='he performed well both on as well as off the field...[/quote'] Agreed. But ICC is stupid :riot:
Executioner Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Maybe sanga deserved it. The guy is brilliant and a living legend
expoking Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 What a joke! Sanga was just a flat track bully for a Sri Lanka team that did nothing all year! What Philander and Amla did was unbelievable and deserves the highest recognition. To be honest Sanga should not have even been nominated over Ajmal. I guess bowlers will always be unappreciated...

In the same way, Philander got to bowl on bowler friendly conditions. Having said that, Sanga has been a terrific player away from the sub-continent too :nice:
Crookbond Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Yeh kya chewtiyaapa hain? :WTF: Meanwhile we can give the best batsman award to Rohit Sharma and best bowler to Harbhajan Singh while we are at it.
ganeshran Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Adharmasena getting umpire of the year award.
