Sidhoni Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Team got raped beyond belief but kapttan did not much wrong - team wins and kaptaan is there to drive the delivery van for the cup!:hysterical: Give the same conditions and same bowling line-up to any other captain in the world. The bowling was absolutely pathetic barring Zak/Yuvi.
JaFanatic Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 we need to stop blaming one man for a team's loss first sachin now dhoni and kohli is not too far away
Shunya Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 funny it is nowadays...ppl are just waiting n wanting for someone to fail...

Executioner Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 fyi guys sehwag is a better bowler than chawla now what is dhoni gonna say? chaman has better bowling form than viru?

Then stop calling Dhoni as a 2 time world cup winning captain and the most valuable captain and player ever for India. you cannot have it both ways. If you claim Dhoni lost because of his team then Dhoni also won the world cups only because of his team and not his captaincy If you believe Dhoni is an amazing captin who won us the wolrd cups with his skills then he also lost 8-0 and so many matches with his skills Sorry, you cannot be hypocrites and have it both ways. So which one is it, is Dhoni a great captain who brings a lot to the table or a normal captain who wins and loses only becuase of his team?
JaFanatic Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 ^he deserves credit for the world cups not only him but the whole team but blaming him alone for the loss is way to harsh man there are other players who've failed miserably and even the selectors made few wrong decisions so what m saying is its not just him

And shouldnt proportional credit be given for the loses? I didnt hear Dhoni fans complain about dhoni hogging the limelights, most ad deals, and given credit as the most successful captain when India won the world cup. Why this sudden talk of blaming the whole team then?

Dude, stop the BS. His T20 batting is pathetic. His team selection is stupid. What else do you need him to do before calling him a useless T20 batsman and captain?

We have a very poor squad and MSD have very less to chose from, thanks to Cheeka.

If you think Sehwag is useless, bring in Tiwary. If you think you need 5 bowlers, go with Bala. After Chawla's WC performance, he shouldn't be in the 15 and even if he is, a captain shouldn't pick him in the XI.

Check the match thread for SA Pak match the way pitch was behaving and considering we were playing on the same track, we had to go with 3 spinners. If we hadn't gone with 3 spinners based on first innings itself(slow and low track) people would be critising MSD here that why didn't he chose 3 spinners on such a minefield. Sehwag has become Bradman in hindsight but the kind of form he was going through, it had to be him.

He simply is not a T20 player anymore. How he manages to do well with CSK is a mystery, but when it comes to his own batting and managing the Indian T20 team, he is a disaster.

Well, I'd be temped to play him, if he has bowled well in the last game and pitch is expected a good turner and he is the only 3rd spinner. Not directed at you but some people take so much bias that before this game a lot many would be saying Dhoni doesn't have courage to drop Sehwag, gutless captain and all, when he has done it and we lost the game, people are bagging him.

Well I posted before the game that dropping Sehwag would be a disaster, but I see what you mean. I do blame the selectors for not injecting more talent. Would have loved to have seen Rahane in the top order and spinning options like Sharma and Ojha.
