Dhoni should be sacked as captain in all 3 formats!

Yeah. But do check the W/L ratio for the last 100 ODIs. Hoping that India will win 33% of its matches away from 2015 is hardly being too optimistic.
that stat post shows u are right but still cant understand if dhoni's captaincy record in odis is 57% ,in tests its below 50% then how is the combination of tests and one days gonna be 60% even if we assume to play more at home?

okay u have made ur "assumptions" clear now..my response to ur assumptions as per points are: a) india aint gonna play 70% of matches in home, not today, not in the future because to keep certain boards in ur side like nzl,wi,lanka, bcci will have to send the indian team to tour them frequently ,u have to play in tri series, icc tournaments which are mostly held away and then u have the long away tours in eng,aus every 3-4 years.. b)not gonna happen.70% home win is too much for our mediocre side, jeez we lost odis to pak, aus, egland and even windies lol..forget the tests.. c)big assumption again.. regarding the full crack comment,it was just a joke yaar
In the last 50 home ODIs, India has won 35. What makes you think that the same wouldn't happen? In the last 100 home and away ODIs, India has won 66% and 47% respectively. These stats would probably surprise you, and it's only fair to assume that the same would continue. Regarding 70% of cricket in India, you need to understand that when a series is played in NZ and it starts at 6:30 AM, it is not primetime for any of the advertisers. Since the BCCI wants the lion's share of revenues, it would be much more pragmatic for them to have more and more cricket in India to rake the maximum moolah. Now since the Big 3 is taking such a big step, it's only natural to assume that more and more 'fringe cricket' (not the big ICC tournaments) would be played in India only to make maximum revenue.

This part I 100% agree with you and it is the universal truth...it is sad but true. But in a perfect world cannot justify his continuing as a captain based on his overall performance and thats why fans whine despite obviously being totally helpless
Actually only the hardcore fans whine about Dhoni being captain. Dhoni is a man-wonder for the average man on the street, and is the second biggest cricketing icon of the country ever (probably). The average cricket lover loves Dhoni and would have no qualms seeing him as captain for the rest of their lives.

In the last 50 ODIs played at home, India has won 35. So, if we play most of our cricket at home, why wouldn't we manage 60%? Also, BCCI would soon probably arrange only 2-Test series away and 4-Test series at home and all would be sorted out.

So you have to oppose Dhoni to qualify as a hardcore fan?

i agree but now the team is pretty mediocre and bowling is sh1t,in those 50 odis u mentioned we won 5-0 vs eng,5-0 vs nzl,4-1 vs windies,7-1 in wc.dont think we are gonna repeat such performances again,we already began to lose more odis at home vs pak, eng, aus since last year and the pitches will be more flatter than ever so that'll give the better chance to the opposition to win..in tests we'll see how this young team does, india is not a fortress as it used to be

Then we beat Australia after some mammoth chases and world records and beat WI also. If we again suddenly win the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup (even if we win one convincingly), everyone will say we are a super team. We keep jumping from one tree to another based on our performances. This team is getting settled now, it's a young team, and in another 2 years it will surely be better. Can't get any worse anymore.

this year will be massive for our young team, whats important is to win test matches in nzl,eng,aus..okay we lost 4-0 in odis but if they fight back to win a test,it'll be a good achievement..cant see this team with dhoni as the captain doing well in eng,aus

India have not won an away Test since June 2011 when they beat West Indies at Sabina Park, Jamaica. Their current sequence of 12 consecutive away Tests without a win is their worst since 1993-2001, when they went 22 away Tests without a win. The bigger concern for India, however, is that they have lost nine of these 12 Tests, putting them at the bottom of the win-loss ratio table in overseas Tests, along with Zimbabwe.
Worst Indian test captain since 2001
