He is the guy to watch out for if selected. Hope, they select, though low possibilities. MCA selectors are not known for taking risks and go for wild cards. They will rather play trundler brigade of Waingenkar, Balvinder, etc. who can move the SG ball enough to be effective, but they found out soon with Kookabura ball like Rituraj has been first in Duleep Trophy and now in New Zealand.

Players I want to keep track of this season , and see more of them this year and also players who are making a comeback after injury. Sreesanth hopefully Pawan Suyal is fit and hopefully we can see him perform and also we need to find some good bowlers Sudeep Tyagi was one youngster who I thought had potential , hopefully he can make a good comeback Mohd Aamir Anwar Ahmed who I think might be the left arm quick we are looking for Abu Nechim can be our ODI , T20 bowler. VRV Singh not even in the Punjab side as of now, nice guy who had a lot of promise one of the best U19 bowlers we had, see what he does this year. Manpreet Gony in a country short of fast bowling talent wonder why he is not even in the picture U19 stars Harmeet, S Sharma, Unmukt, Baba, Ravikant, Sayyid. Pankaj Singh has potential and hopefully can raise his game and fitness a bit to get in the frame of things. M Amir is supposedly a real fast bowling find for Mumbai hopefully he gets a chance. Shami Ahmed this might be the year for him to get into Team India Manish Pandey Mandeep Singh Murali probably will play for team again Rohit Rayudu who has rekindled his chances if he has a great season , a prodigy who had fallen by the way side. Uday Kaul and Saha among keepers who should be in the picture for higher honors

Nothing is going to change. The flat pattas will rule the roost and then come peak winter time, pitches in North India will aid swing due to favorable weather conditions. Hopefully they will play more matches at grounds like Mysore, Motibagh Stadium (Baroda), Bansilal Stadium (Rohtak), Meerut, Anantpur...perhaps some of the better sporting wickets in the country.

The biggest detriment to Indian cricket and for it not preparing players for the rigours of international cricket are, flat tracks, crammed schedule, too many teams, at least now there will be more games and BCCI should look after the domestic bowlers as bowling on those tracks and getting no rest between games makes bowlers who have pace and potential to begin with turn trundlers and also get injured, loose momentum,Suyal Aaron, Tyagi, VRV, AND COUNTLESS OTHER BOWLERS WHO HAD POTENTIAL AND LOST THEIR WAY.

If by FLAT you mean spinning tracks then I tend to disagree that they do not develop skill.
Flat tracks where any mediocre players can pile on the runs and good bowlers look average, a good track is the one which will seam and swing initially with some pace, then will become a batting wicket also start spinning a bit more towards the final day, spinners seamer's both can come into play initially as they both can enjoy the conditions as bounce will help them both, batters with better technique can stay long enough to play on when the wicket gets easier, spinners then can rap up the game and faster bowlers can get some reverse so we might see more results also in 4 days.

Then we will had players like Badrinath, Tiwary, and most other players who **** in their path seeing a decent bowler bang in shot and no idea as how to play square of the wicket, and that is not their fault entirely, will limit our success to being at home, which we are good at .

There are batsman from Australia or South Africa who play spin well. How does that happen? I don't see any decent spinner from Australia or any spinning wicket in Australia either.

The question is on the nature of the wickets. Just like you will rarely find a bouncy track in India similarly, you will rarely find a spinning wicket in Australia. Now, I need to understand what are you against - flat wickets or spinning wickets. Spinning wickets are equally "sporty" just like wickets with pace & bounce.

Why did WI CRICKET SLIDE TO MEDIOCICITY, WICB, BASKETBALL, nature of tracks, loosing fan base and interest because of the reasons and also causing a decline in talent.A fast or sporting wicket will mostly slow down and take turn for the latter half giving their players an advantage but a flat and slow spinning deck will not get faster or test the skills of batters or bowlers adequately.

That's not the definition of a spinning track.

I agree the variety of conditions and wickets along with strong domestic cricket and planning make Australia one of the best cricket playing nation till date in terms of results, the very same reasons effect us as we lack in all three areas.

Sydney and Adelaide - spins? When! At least not when India tours there.

Last time when India toured there they thought India was a strong team and could cause an upset they planned very well also all the tracks were way way greener then they are usually, Craig also worked very well with the bowling attack to bowl exactly where Indians will find it difficult, we were out done and importantly out thought. It does spin on those two tracks under normal circumstances, they had prepared harder greener tracks to overcome their short comings which was rookie bowling attack and out of form batting and in the process their batters also ran into form.
