The Congress is in power in the state, where the series of rapes, mostly of Dalit women, has rocked the state. The state Congress chief Phool Chand Mulana said, "Such incidents used to happen earlier as well," claiming that the incidents were being sensationalised. Meanwhile, another woman was raped in Palwal's Mathepur village when she went to the fields to collect fodder. If it was happening earlier and no one every opened there mouth then this should continue to happen without a word being said ... !!! This sort of attitude is common in sub cont. I remember a Pakistani Punjab minister saying 15/20 murders in Punjab is normal.

They really don't. Be it Pakistan or India. We are the Baboons who just sit and whine about these issues. Nothing's gonna ever change, even if it does, it won't last more than a season. What's the best we can do? Protest? As mentioned earlier the effect wouldn't last long.
