Old guy Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Was being serious. Another one of my thoughts :proud: I was thinking how Ranji wicket toppers have always not delivered at International level. one thing is consistent in both tournaments punjab team is shyte :giggle:
Old guy Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 12.05pm - Is this a fitness test for Zaheer? Sid Talya tells me that Zaheer is being watched over by Ashish Kaushik, the NCA physio, and Niranjan Pandit, the MCA physio. Have the selectors asked for this before they meet? this is interesting
Crookbond Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Man, what excitement with Ranji. I'm just loving it. I hope BCCI is watching.
Old guy Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Man' date=' what excitement with Ranji. I'm just loving it. I hope BCCI is watching.[/quote'] better then ipl :two_thumbs_up:
Old guy Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 12.40pm So Zaheer does seem to have gone through a fitness test. The selection committee meeting is on at Cricket Centre next doors to Wankhede Stadium. Ashish Kaushik, the NCA physio who was oversaw Zaheer's workout during lunch at Wankhede, has just been spotted at Cricket Centre. So it seems that he has just passed on the findings from that exercise to the selectors
Crookbond Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 This is good job by the selectors - I like!
wanted_desi Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Shewag gets a hundred at no 6 .:agree: He should play at #6
India-KXIP fan Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 ^not really we will miss the fast starts. Shewag gets a hundred at no 6 .:agree: Ok cool. Thats great. But no need for anyone new at No.6. Sehwag is best as opener. :nice:

Magneto Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Man' date=' what excitement with Ranji. I'm just loving it. I hope BCCI is watching.[/quote'] Also good coverage by Cricinfo. The comments section is overflowing.
Magneto Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Couple of tools commentating on Star Cricket  Gloating about the Eden Gardens and trying to decode its history (and making hilarious goofs trying that) for the last two overs.
Magneto Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 unlucky wont be selected :om: :finger: The selectors agreed with me on that :giggle:
Crookbond Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Also good coverage by Cricinfo. The comments section is overflowing. :agree: Once again it clearly shows that games with context will be watched. Just because these games had a context for selection of the Test squad - suddenly Ranji has got the complete limelight. Pity that the coverage (in terms of TV) is not that good.
Crookbond Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Rahane out for 84. Mumbai 197/3 against Railways. Nayyar comes in to bat.
rkt.india Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 3.10pm - Tendulkar doesn't want to bat Meanwhile, at Wankhede, Mumbai have sent in Dhawal Kulkarni ahead of Sachin Tendulkar. Mumbai 218 for 5 in a game that died the moment Railways saved the follow-on in the morning session. Let me tell you, there is no fitness concern around him. He fielded in the morning. It's just that it's difficult to motivate self to bat in such situations Is he still enjoying the game?
Sidhoni Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 3.45pm - Update from Indore Gujarat now have 11 overs left to take the last three wickets. The partnership between Saxena and Rajan is now 14.3 overs old. Saxena 35 off 77, and Rajan 5 off 42 Come on MP! :cheer:
