IPL happens in April-May no? and btw' date=' do you Lankans even play Int'nal cricket then! You're speaking as if Sri Lanka play test matches during IPL :haha:[/quote'] i don't think you'd remember, 1) how sanga and mahela refused to tour england for a test series in 2009 due to IPL commitments. 2) how the same duo didn't participate in warm up games prior to tests in england in 2011 due to IPL commitments and as a result failed miserably in the test series. 3) how SLC (obviously with the backing of senior players) agreed to give up the test series against WI to make way for IPL 2013. i also don't think you'd have noticed how sanga has changed his batting technique slightly (regarding initial trigger movements) to play lofted shots better. that has affected his test scoring. he's not the same person who conquered NZ, ENG, AUS in tests during the golden 2006-2008 period. of course he continues to make merry on flat tracks. personally i think sanga should retire from all shorter formats right now and focus on tests only.
