arre yaar..this is really bad..i never liked my dad escorting me till my exam center for my 10th boards... first day i did not say anything...but refused to go with him for next all exams... so for next four exams i went with my friends...:D did not understand the underlined sentence...??

Main hun opposite end pe my dad since day one threw me in the deep water never cared to find out what I was doing on exam centres.... 11th mein NDA interview ke liye jana tha again he never bothered to escort me to bhopal.. pahli baar state se bahar wo bhi akele....I was all clueless still somehow managed.. again engg admission conuselling ke liye jana tha wahan bhi akele bhej diya kanpur........ good part was that all the uncles and aunties after finding out that i am all alone used to get all avuncular and their wards used to face words like .. dekho is larke ko akele aaya hai aur ak tum ho..... :haha: wonder why parents do that openly, mere babuji bhi shuru ho jate the kisi well-behaved bachcha ko dekh ke....... irnoy was when I visisted that same guy's place he used to get that kuchh sikho routine :haha:

हां! और उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश, राजस्थान इत्यादि राज्यों के निवासी भी "खड़ी बोली" हिन्दी मे वार्तालाप की क्रिया सम्पन्न कर सकते हैं.

Sorry mouni, I do not know telugu or Spanish. I had started picking up a few words pf Telugu when I was in Hyderabad for 6 months. But it is all wiped away now. But should you not know our national language?

How about we focus on spreading basic literacy(in any freaking language) first and some pointless exercise in chest thumping by promoting hindi after that ?

If we are focusing, we need to keep focusing on that until our literacy rates hit at the very minimum, 80-85% and then get into teaching national language to all and semantics of that sort.

i was taking hindi 3 while i was in india - 9 th class, then i came here. Was a poor hindi student tho, had a tution master. Also used to cuss at the tution master for pinching and beating me for getting low marks. Btw i used to cuss at him when the tution is over and when i am sure the door is locked :two_thumbs_up:
