Ram Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 I feel like doing a "Wasted Talents" article on Afridi.
MundaPakistani Posted September 1, 2007 Author Posted September 1, 2007 Quite a close contest in the end- PAK sneaked past Uganda by mere 148 runs in this first twnety20 match.
MundaPakistani Posted September 1, 2007 Author Posted September 1, 2007 uganda :hysterical: bacche ki jaan lega :hysterical: Doesn't matter if its Uganda or Meganda...50 off 13 balls is a great accomplishment even against a club side.
Chandan Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Doesn't matter if its Uganda or Meganda...50 off 13 balls is a great accomplishment even against a club side. Exactly. Hitting 50 runs off 13 balls with even a kid bowling in a park, is a very tough task.
ludhianvi Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 That's impressive! I dont think the Indian think tank is taking the 20/20 WC seriously. There are only like 13 odd days left for the 20/20 WC and we are still playing ODIs. What about match practice for the 20/20s for the other players who are not playing odis at the moment but are in the 20/20 squad. There would be no if hardly any time for the team to gel. I wouldnt be surprised if India does poorly at this tournament as well.
karina Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 I feel like doing a "Wasted Talents" article on Afridi. I know what you mean. If you look at over 17.2, he got only a 4. That's Afridi for you - at the most unexpected times he fails....:D Seriously though, Afridi's problem IMO is he doesn't know how to distinguish between good and bad deliveries. He should take a leaf out of his brother Sehwag's book and learn to play a long test innings.
Ram Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 There is no way this record is going to be beaten by anyone. This one will stand for ages.
zubinpepsi Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 There is no way this record is going to be beaten by anyone. This one will stand for ages. anyway its not official..:hysterical:
Ram Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 anyway its not official..:hysterical: I can see you are extremely happy at that ! :haha:
zubinpepsi Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 I can see you are extremely happy at that ! :haha: ofcourse I am..:yay:
Ram Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 I bet that bowler ( Isaneez) is a medium pacer bowling at 115 kmph. Its easier to line up a medium pacer bowling at such speeds and hit him for 5 6s and one 4s , more than a spinner.
jf1gp_1 Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Doesn't matter if its Uganda or Meganda...50 off 13 balls is a great accomplishment even against a club side. Totaly agree there. 13 balls 50 is no joke. highlights ???
Ram Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Another Afridi Massacre LpsCF4dX96A 32 runs of this over. The shot off the third ball , is probably the flattest six ever.
Chaos Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 blind swaps, bandara is dumb, why didnt he throw the ball wide and fast, easy stumping...
gator Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 this guy has a load of talent... if only, he had some brains... but still all credit to him for scoring a 50 of 13 balls....
Rajiv Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Afridi has tuned up his game though., in other words..slightly more sensible
