I can NEVER forget two spells from Zaheer Khan. Sure there are many other memorable ones including New Zealand 2002, Australia 2003, England 2007 and South Africa 2010 but these two spells were bowled in Indian conditions. As a batsman - all those 3 wickets will give you a harrowing time. The ball reversed for Lee, was simply angled across to White and swung in for Haddin. You are guessing all the time -

It's the same for MJ as well - he does not know when the ball will go away or come in. Therefore, he has to play - if he does not read and misses the reverse swing he is bowled; if he misreads the not reverse swinging ball he's caught behind. Zaheer master class!

Pretty much what he did in England' 07. I remember KP struggling like hell at the end of the day where he had no clue if the ball would come back or go past his edge. Was beaten about 7-8 times in the last few overs. The over to Compton was a clever one aswell. :hatsoff:

Any batsmen would have expected him to bowl outside off around the wicket, 1st ball and the angle was outside off but it reversed back in.

IDK if there is a video but I remember MJ being caught behind of Zaheer's bowling in 2008/2010. If you put both those deliveries side by side, you will understand how difficult it is to play him,

This stat sums it up doesn't it? He was too injury prone more so because of his action and hence lost out on crucial matches on many occasions. But, post 2006, he has been a sub-30 bowler, a barometer to measure the greatness of a bowler.
