Yoda-esque Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 This Indian team must know that its fans are hurt and feel cheated by their pathetic performances. Since ICF is a microcosm of the Indian fan's feelings towards the team,Can we have somebody hold up placards/posters to indicate to our team about what we really feel about them? If somebody is attending the Eden test tomorrow or the Nagpur test, Can they hold it up for the entire team to see? Please suggest the messages here. Also if somebody is attending, please put your hand up to volunteer. This is a serious post BTW.
EnterTheVoid Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 On ya bike son, piss off to the pavilion!
Mahaa Raavana Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 :fail:thread......:giggle: do you seriously think those over-paid celebrities would care about fans and their emotions...???
Yoda-esque Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 :fail:thread......:giggle: do you seriously think those over-paid celebrities would care about fans and their emotions...??? No but atleast we would get an outlet to vent our feelings/frustrations. The whole cricketing world seeing that is an added bonus.
Magneto Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 The team hardly sees any banners as the fielders/batsmen are always far, far away from the stands. You can maximum get a banner televised if you can draw the attention of the cameramen by doing some monkey business. Even then, it will only get televised and the 'team' will never see it. And, you really think that the team does not know that the fans are pissed? :giggle:
namasteji1 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I think time has come for fans to burn their effigies and posters like what they did in wc2003, then only they started performing. Fans have been too patient this time around. Probably lost interest..don't know.

Let these buggers know we are angry!
Nova Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Won't work at all, I am afraid. :headshake: You can throw stones at the bus? hehe
Trichromatic Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Come on India dikha do, Duniya ko hila do. That will be on my poster tomorrow. :P

Magneto Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Won't work at all, I am afraid. :headshake: You can throw stones at the bus? hehe And then get beaten up by the cops and languish in the lockup for a fortnight? ;-)
Yoda-esque Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 Won't work at all, I am afraid. :headshake: You can throw stones at the bus? hehe Why wont it work?Do you think there will be too many posters around? Saurav can do a little jig, maybe streak on the field to get a little attention.:giggle:
Yoda-esque Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 These people KNOW. What makes you think they don't? Because there is no remorse, public apologies by anybody on the team. Not even on their twitter accounts.
Nova Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 The bottom line is no matter what poster you make, the players won;t react to it. Players usually pay attention to the media...articles in newspapers and media coverage on TV.
Magneto Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Because there is no remorse, public apologies by anybody on the team. Not even on their twitter accounts. It's a game. You win some, you lose some. You have good days, you have bad days. Why do you expect people to come up with public apologies everytime they fail? I don't know about any international sportsmen who do the same. Neither do we (fans/media) give them any room by gunning for their heads all the time.

They are all surely disappointed; but what can they do? They have limited abilities, and they are getting beaten by a better team.

You may find some examples when they don't seem to give 100%, but they are not just good enough. India should just try to draw this test series and that will be very good result for the team.

Playing the way we are, total lack of fitness and intent and getting paid crores to do such a shoddy job is another. If they were employees, they would all be let go.

All this was predicted once the fabulous four started retiring.
