Yes. He is looking good in this French Open. Hope he makes way for Nadal to win another French open by taking (D)joker out in SF :--D:--D. (I would be far more comfortable if Nadal faces Federer in final than him facing (D)joker.)
Nadal is not looking at his best in this french open till now while Fedex and Djoker are both looking really good - sadly only one of Fedex/Djoker will make it to the final despite both being in good form while Nadal has got a comparatively easy draw and will most probably make it to the final  I hope Fedex wins it :--D

Whoever thought he is quitting ODIs, in 2007!!! :phehehe: Even when he was going through 'bad patch', it never crossed my mind that he would miss 2011 WC. I started reading this thread w/o noticing the dates of original posts. And I was thinking its a good move that he does not play ODIs for next two years ( 2012-13), or very few of them and then going to pwn the speculators again, by playing 2015 WC.

BUMP... I say Sachin will retire if India wins in Australia... what say??
Would be a good point to retire from ODIs, if we win the CB series. Unless he wants to play the 2015 World Cup.

Posted by larry on (September 06 2007, 12:03 PM GMT) sachin is seems tobe master of international cricket. But he lacks behind his form for the past few serious . Beeing a master batsman he should be an perfect example for team members. One good example is Ricky ponting of Australia worlds number one alrounder no matter what ever the pitch is and climatic condition he proves himself as best . SOO its better sachin can quit international cricket.

The way Tendulkar bats is just amazing, words can not describe! But I understand if the heavy One Day schedule is taking it's toll on his body, considering the fact that he's been playing for 18 years. I truly believe he has one more World Cup left in him, but yes he has to pace him self in terms of the amount of games he plays during the next four years. My opinion would be for him to continue playing but maybe not play all the Tours or even have a rotation policy with another Batsman, for example if there's 5 One Day matches maybe he plays 2 or 3 of those, so if there's 30 One Day matches in 2008 maybe he can play in 18 of those and this way it will allow for some of the youngsters to ease themselves in to the side. I don't believe Tendulkar needs regular matches to perform. Sachin Tendulkar the Greatest Batsman of ALL TIME only needs to turn up!

In ODI arena he has achieved everything he would've aimed for, he knows his body , also his desire to be with his family, kids , which never happened in the past, he could play imp games, play test's for couple of years, I guess if India win in OZ, SA, his book will be complete, maybe at his age might be very difficult I want him to score a 300 plus score in test's.

IMO...thats a good move by Sachin....officially retire from ODIs...& extend the Test career. When India will not be playing Test...Sachin can play some domestic games. Imagine the experience the domestic players will get
