The Pune Warriors stole the show in Pune. Luke Wright made it count in his partnership with Alex Hales, and scored 34 off 21 balls. Fellow Pune Warriors Yuvraj Singh gets him out followed by Alex Hales who was threatening to take the game away and then the England captain Eoin Morgan, who when set could be dangerous. Another Pune Warrior Ashoke Dinda bowled a fantastic penultimate over taking 2 wickets, further denting their chances of posting a huge score. In the run chase of course, it was Yuvi once again scoring 38 off 21 with 3 sixes, until Luke Wright got him out and got even with him. PUNE WARRIORS ARE GONNA KICK ASS NEXT YEAR!!!:two_thumbs_up:

Pune Warriors India have signed up MP fast bowler Ishwar Chand Pandey and batsman Udit Birla from their catchment area, reports Gaurav Gupta. The deal happened in November last year. Pandey is this season's highest wicket-taker in Ranji Trophy so far (48 wickets @21.06), while Birla scored 415 runs in eight games, but is considered to be an attacking batsman. The 23-year-old Pandey played for India 'A' against England in a one-dayer recently. The lanky pacer is rated highly by the national selectors, and could play for India soon.
