Taylor has also chosen to make himself unavailable for the upcoming tour of South Africa, although New Zealand are hopeful he will be back in the side for the home series against England early next year. Also: Taylor has also chosen to make himself unavailable for the upcoming tour of South Africa, Hope Ross Taylor returns to international cricket soon, or is looking to change citizenship.
Trichromatic Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 He wasn't sacked. Management wanted different captains for different formats and probably Ross didn't like it.
indiefan Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 He wasn't sacked. Management wanted different captains for different formats and probably Ross didn't like it. From the article, looks like the coach had a change of mind on test captaincy after ross' performance in the tests.
Texy Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Hesson is close to Macca from his Otago days hence probably never preferred Ross in the 1st place. Shameful if true.
