jairamesh Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 :orderorder: Announce bandh for 1 day on ICF.
The Outsider Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 One and a half years late, but still reasonably in time for the next World Cup. Well played to the second best ODI batsman ever!
JaFanatic Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 still sachin is sachin no one can ever replace him:((
JaFanatic Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 :whine: he has less burden now can concentrate in test cricket alone and comeback with a bang:yay::yay: :whine:
Shawn Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 One of the best ODI batsmen of all time. Would have considered him as the best had he played a great knock or two in World Cup knock out matches against quality opponents. That 98 v Pakistan in 2003 World Cup and 130+ v Australia at Sharjah were fantastic.

Raghav_12 Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Salute to the mastero. I've just one thing to say: I was never a great fan of Sachin. But I still respected him for what he has achieved. Had he retired from ODIs after the World Cup final, or after the first ever ODI double hundred, my respect for him would have retained. But unfortunately for him, he never understood that. So mean of him, not to understand your feelings. Hopefully he'll realize that and will call you asking for your forgiveness.

Shawn Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 60s and 80s in 2011 world cup qf and sf against aus and pak respectively Wasn't he dropped 4-5 times in the PAK SF? He scored just 50 odd v AUS if I recall correctly. I was talking about great match winning knocks in big games. Examples - Dhoni v SL 2011, Ponting v IND 2003, Aravinda v AUS 1996, etc. He hasn't really done that.

Shawn Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 My personal favourites are Sharjah final 98, PAK game 2003 and that 175 v AUS although it didn't win the game.
DomainK Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Guys, we will keep Tendulkar criticism for the numerous other threads that are out there. If you must make demands for evidence of his achievements, this is not the thread.
