Dhoni might have just ended Lyon's career. Made 91(73) against him in spin friendly conditions. Lyon concedes 182 @ 4.5 ER where he was the lone spinner in the team and had to get lots of wickets for Aussies.

Nope he played next 3 tests IIRC. But dropped after Aus failed to defend 400 plus in Perth against SA in which his bowling was completely ineffectual

This pitch breaking .. I dont see it breaking till early on Day 5 ... Indian spinners will be better than Lyon here but they wont find it very easy to take wickets. They will still have to work hard, pitch it up and invite the drive.

They should stick with lyon.He bowled full today and outside off stump ,which is a good line.Indian batsman played him well today but this is a long series.The other aussie options are not worth it except if they might go for leftarmer .

Our spinners have different angles and speeds as well. I think it's not going to be easy for Australia. The problem is that we are effectively 2 bowlers short with Harbhajan and Ishant not even blocking one end.

Make that 3.Bhuvi is also not doing the job.
