He was right about piers morgan and pro gun control people throwing out meaningless factoids about England vs usa gun control laws. England had a far lower crime rate even when English gun laws were more relaxed than the US. Their also isn't any proof that more guns equal less violence either though. two morons pretending to be know what the hell their talking about.but I like how he called out piers for the phone hacking scandal though.

The 2nd ammendment is stupid and redundant. Lets investigate: the 2nd ammendment precisel states: "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." Ie, the right to bear arms for the individual is so that the individuals can choose to organize themselves into a militia at the threat of an opressive government. Now, this rule came around in 1790s, when armies fought with muskets and cannons, with a few guys riding around horses with lances/swords. In that context, a well regulated militia can stand up to a professional army, for example, the american war of independence. However, this is 2012, the government army doesnt fight with just guns and cannons, they fight with nukes, f-22s, supercarriers, SSBNs, etc. Ie, the whole point of the 2nd ammendment was so that the US citizens can keep owning weapons to free the US from itself in the future, like they freed the US from the Brits (overthrowing a tyrannical government). In its purpose, the 2nd ammendment, as it stands today, is a colossal failure. So, it should be scrapped. The 2nd ammendment was not created so that property owners could shoot criminals who tried to damage their goods or person, it was created so that prople could get together and overthrow the govt if they wanted to.

Disturbingly' date=' Alex Jones referred to the Delhi rape and the insecurity of women in India in his tirade. Has the Delhi rape become a reference point now, even in foreign media ?[/quote'] He was probably sitting in the stiudio when Piers was doing a story on the rape incident. Picked it up to use in his argument.

Please explain how not allowing you to buy semi/fully automatic gun affects your life or security?
Dude you don't understand. Americans take buying firearms for rec. purposes as granted. They feel powrful and could sleep better because they know they can protect themselves when and if needed. Taking away one type of weapon scares the people b/c they think that if the government can take away semi automatics, tomorrow they'll take away pistols, knives and what not. Plus, Firearms is how they got freedom, it's in their DNA. I personally also like the idea of banning certain types of guns but I don't think it's possible. It's hard to take just one side on this issue.
