Which type of wickets you like more ? Flat ones which Indian curators seem to aim for, or helpful ones which give something for the bowlers like those against Pakistan ?

Pitches in ODIs are generally flat tracks, especially in India. I dont really mind flat decks because it gives both sides an equal chance. If its a poor pitch it will get worse as game progresses and batting second becomes very difficult.

Rajkot is known for its flat tracks. We need more like that of Pak series.
This was a new stadium, so was hoping it would be different. But the outfield is super quick and they have pulled ropes a bit in too.

Team batting 1st has to deal with whatever early freshness there is.

The outfiled is ridiclulous. Like glass. If outfield was slower , it would be ok pitch. You just touch it and races for 4
Tailor made for SRT. He loves batting on quick outfields with that sweet fluent timing.

Well with team like ours we will have to put up with such pitches. No specialist pace bowler/spinner. Everybody is learning their trade, so we have to back up our batting till our bowling improves.

ODIs are battig bouts - simple' date=' more so in India. I dare say I like ODI pitches in SL over the last few years.[/quote'] Actually sl pitches have gone flat.Gone are those days when chasing under lights was impossible with the ball swinging, spinning.
