ShebbySB Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 My pick for Test:-Sehwag,Mukund,Pujara,Sachin,Kohli,Rahane,Dhoni,Ashwin, Ojha,Umesh,Shami.Reserves:-Jiwonjit Singh,Manoj,Uday Kaul,Chawla/Mishra, Ishant & Bhuvaneshwar(his ability to swing the ball will be handy). Gambhir should be dropped from the test team....period.Sachin's inclusion is a tricky one as he certainly wants to continue in this format but a bad series against the Aussies will mean the end of his career. That will mean an inexperienced middle order batsman will come in in the SA series away from home.Philander has proved that if u can move the ball & bowl accurate enough u can pick loads of wickets even at 125-130ks at test level against world class batsmen. So Bhuvaneshwar should be given a chance. My pick for ODI:-Gambhir,Rahane,Kohli,Yuvraj,Dhoni,Raina,Jadeja,Irfan,Ashwin, Bhuvaneshwar,Aaron.Reserves:-Pujara,Rohit/Rayudu,Mishra,Shami. Ishant should stick to test matches only,he shouldn't play any other formats & less said about Dinda is better.
Old guy Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 dont know abt tests but in odis this batting line up is very weak can be blown away anyday raina needs to play before yuvraj and yuvraj should stick to finishing pujara needs to come in place of gambhir and rahane should be given proper run now even if he fails i think tiwary should come back to provide some solidity atleast at home :cantstop:

Old guy Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 well i just hope we win this series and rahane scores some runs pujara will come in and score im not worried about him at all

India-KXIP fan Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 For a full strength Indian atm I would have Laxman, Ganguly, Dravid and Kumble as well. They still should be decent enough. :two_thumbs_up:

cricketman Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 ODI - Ajinkya Rahane Gautam Gambhir (keeping the faith...) Virat Kohli Yuvraj Singh MS Dhoni Suresh Raina Ravinder Jadeja Irfan Pathan R Ashwin B Kumar Shami Ahmed? I'd like to see Dhawan in the ODI team in place of Gambhir soon. Of course I am a big Pujara fan but i'm not sure where he will slip in to the XI - does he open in List A cricket?
