R Dravid lbw b Tremlett 9 (18m 12b 2x4 0x6) SR: 75.00 Replays show it hit him just outside the line of off stump. 107.6 Collingwood to Tendulkar, OUT, and he's got him - Tendulkar can't believe it. Just outside off stump, Tendulkar took a big stride down the pitch but offered no shot. A huge, lengthy appeal from Collingwood and the wicketkeeper - and Taufel, after a long Bucknor-like delay, raises his finger, though replays suggest it's a poor decision, the ball missing the off stump by several inches. And that's a shocking decision from Taufel; it didn't look out with the naked eye and Hawk-Eye confirms it would have passed by his off stump comfortably. Oh dear. But up goes the finger, and off goes Tendulkar. 131.5 Anderson to Ganguly, OUT, strangled down the leg side, a fairly ordinary delivery, Ganguly swishes, Prior takes a tumbling catch and Taufel gives him out. Swinging into Cook and rapping him on the pads, dead in front. Replays don't appear to indicate he hit it, but it did look a bit high. Done in by a screamer of a bouncer. It kicked up from short of length and reared shoulder high. Tendulkar tried to fend it away, got his hands in front of his face and the ball seemed to have gone off his arm guard -- though no conclusive evidence was available from television replays --- down the leg side for Prior to take it. They let out a huge appeal and the fatal finger goes up. Tendulkar looks bemused. A wry grin, a shake of head and he walks back. Did it brush the gloves? The replays don't confirm or deny that. ( benefit of Doubt goes to???? 30.4 Yuvraj Singh to Collingwood, no run, Collingwood sweeps again and misses! The ball pitches on the stumps, straightens and hits the pad. That is very, very close and somehow Mark Benson thinks it's not out. Collingwood very lucky to get away with that ( this was 100% PLUMB for every one on earth except Mr.Benson)! 32.6 Yuvraj Singh to Bell, no run, another flat, quick one from Yuvraj that is missed and raps the pad. Benson turns it down even before the bowler can complete his appeal and that's the end of the over 13.3 Flintoff to Dravid, OUT, and it works! That ball was quick, pitching back of a length outside off stump and jagging in, Dravid hops up and tries to drop the bat out of harms way but theres a noise as ball passes him, it deviates sharply and Prior collects moving to his left, they all go up in appeal and Aleem Dar nods his head and raises the finger! Dravid isnt happy at all, the ball bounced well and he seems to say the bat flicked his pad... R Dravid c Prior b Flintoff 0 (5m 3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00 Boos and more boos ring out after replays on the big screen. Looks like bat did hit the pad. Dravid is not happy. 15.4 Flintoff to Tendulkar, OUT, gone, but how! Flintoff pitches full again, outside off stump, Tendulkar drives loosely, bat misses ball completely, instead the bat clips the pad as he goes through with the shot, they appeal for the catch from Prior and Aleem Dar pulls off a shocking dismissal! Wow, there was no bat on ball whatsoever and Tendulkar is livid. Another bad dismissal in this long summer of competitive cricket. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 30.1 Panesar to Yuvraj Singh, no run, tossed up, outside the off, a bit of turn, Yuvraj chops, the ball goes off the edge and Prior catches! But the umpire turns it down ... that is bad luck for England

Blunders galore indeed. Mind you if you check the number of bad decisions England copped as well it would amount to huge numbers. In short umpires it sounds like they are there to make bad decisions and not good ones.

The umpiring in the entire series was downright pathetic. Initially, it was England who copped some bad ones and then it was India's turn with their best batsmen regularly getting jacked. We have a bunch of overpaid and under qualified umpires manning the game under the supervision of a bloated organization with a myopic vision, always threatening to disrupt a game of cricket like hooligans.

The bad umpiring got so much attention becoz Sachin was the receiving end of it so many times. If say a Powar/Anderson had been handed down horrible decisions , nobody would have given a damn about it.

It is the same like Ponting's bad decision getting attention while no one would care if Macgill is given out wrongly! Umpiring was absolutely dismal in this whole series!

Also Pointing was not given out, which was PLUMB in world cup 2003 in bhajji's over. when he was on 33. And Rudy kortsen cheated horribly then. And indian's didnt complain like pansies.

Saeed Ajmal to Elias Sunny, OUT, Tarapore raises his finger, was the doosra, turned in from a good length outside off, Sunny got forward to defend, got an thin inside edge and Sunny walks back to the pavilion shaking his head. It seemed to me initially that the impact may have been outside the line of off stump, but the replays showed the deflection off the bat

This could have been overturned even without Hawkeye/Hotspot
