vandokkum Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 How many of you would want them back in the team? This is not a shot at any particular team :winky: . Personally I would rather have players that suck than supporting traitors.
Lord Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 cant have cheaters no matter how good they are.need honest triers
King Khan Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Join as a Amla fan to be safe, if you think you would be embarased for someone else's bad deed (including favourite player). c'mon Its marely a favourite player, not my close relative or such. I dont care much on this sort of stuff; fixing happened in past, happens everyday and will happen in future as well. I only care the match result.
ganeshran Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 If players are caught fixing and punished for it, their legacy is done and dusted. Azhar has no standing in world cricket today despite being one of the most elegant players to come out of the subcontinent. However if a player is not caught, he cant get away with it. Akram's legacy might be tarnished but he is still considered among the best bowlers of the 90s despite the observations of the Qayyum comission.
Spiderguy252 Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Chuck them out, forever. Erase their stats. Imprison them. End of.
vandokkum Posted February 3, 2013 Author Posted February 3, 2013 Chuck them out' date=' forever. Erase their stats. [b']Imprison them. End of. Totally agree other than the imprison part, I find the idea ridiculous that fixers should be treated differently based on their cricketing skills
Lord Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 yes no imprisoning lol but they should not be allowed to get near the spot in any way
goggi Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 my fav was Hansie Cronje, sad day when he was found guilty.
vandokkum Posted February 3, 2013 Author Posted February 3, 2013 my fav was Hansie Cronje, sad day when he was found guilty. That was one of the most embarrassing moments for me as a cricket fan
daryl1985 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 No, would rather be **** forever as long as the players showed passion and determination while representing the country. If i found out that players like Sachin, Dravid or Alec Stewart were guilty of match-fixing, i would feel sick.
Vanarp22 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 How many of you would want them back in the team? This is not a shot at any particular team :winky: . Personally I would rather have players that suck than supporting traitors. I would have 0. I keep by morals.
vandokkum Posted February 4, 2013 Author Posted February 4, 2013 They're unlikely to cheat again and I would take them if they are better player. I personally would encourage cheating as long as they don't get caught and fix matches so the team I select wins lol lol keep your morals and your bottom ranking :cantstop:
Gracysmith Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Can't trust cheaters anymore, no issue how excellent they were in their period...
yoda Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 They're unlikely to cheat again and I would take them if they are better player. I personally would encourage cheating as long as they don't get caught and fix matches so the team I select wins lol lol keep your morals and your bottom ranking :cantstop: Now that's worthy of being quoted in someone's signature. :winky:
Marut Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 They should not be allowed to come any where near the team again. No jail for them, that looks very odd.
Marut Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Lifeban and then sieze everything the game has given them - money, trophies, awards....
JaFanatic Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Lifeban and then sieze everything the game has given them - money' date=' trophies, awards....[/quote'] + death punisment for cheating your nation
