Idiot, do you even read what is being typed here? :headshake: Never said dont be happy/ecstatic over positive outcomes in your life. But to just jump up and down like an excited dog seeing his owner after 1year is just plain impish. Same goes with negative outcomes as well. My view is - Something bad happened? Genuinely sorry to hear that. Now, ask yourself these 3 questions - Are you still alive and well? Are your friends and family alive and well? Do you still have all your limbs with you? If the answer to all these question are a 'Yes', then you really dont have that much of a problem. Now, dust yourself and move on. Maybe you think the behavior of the Oprah audience types who go crazy like a water droplet on a hot frying pan after they win a free toaster is par for the course, I dont. :nono:

I dont see your point here. My fondness of certain players is not defined by whether they conform with my view of how a person should (or should not) express their emotions. :hmmmm2: For example - It is a FACT that Sreesanth is a clown and an idiot. But I still love him. :dontknow: The man gives his all out on the cricket field. Rahul Dravid is the most boringest person on the planet. I'd rather watch a rock reduce size because of wind erosion, in slow motion, than listen to his interviews. But the man's still living legend. :dontknow:

I think you may have mis-understood my point of view (or) I may not have articulated myself clearly. I am not saying nobody should get emotional about anything. Clearly, there are tons of things that happen in our personal lives and in this world that could pull our emotional rip-cord. However, if you are an adult, you should be able to restrain your emotions and not bawl your eyes out every time something bad happens or go hysterical with joy every time something positive happens.
I clearly understood your point - it wasn't misunderstanding. However, your continuous statements were oxymorons because everyone is indeed wired separately. Controlling your emotions is probably a good indicator of temporary stability. However, sometimes these things are very personal and do not reflect an individual's character or long term stability. I have seen many people who "bawl" but are immensely successful and great individuals in their respective fields. In summary - let the individual decide what is good bad for him. I don't think we (in a different pair of shoes) can make a generalized statement.

You know what - thats seems reasonable to me. It is not fair for me to comment on another person's psyche, when clearly, I have not lived it.

Thank You for the agreement. Good day! :icflove:
