carnish Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 India played with 3 worthless players in the chennai test ... Ishant, BK, and Bhajji ... These players had no role for the game especially the first two with Bhajji being cr@p anyways.
Vivek.S.123 Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and Ishant Sharma should never play for India in any format ever again
Vanarp22 Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Afridi Gul Dernbach Hughes Dernbach is a failure...why do England keep persisting with him? And Gul is OK
cricketpitch Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 India : Murali Vijay, Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh (Post 2010). ROW : Mohammed Hafeez (The Test Opener) Nathan Lyon. Add on. Nathan Lyon isn't bad by current Australian standards as far as spin bowling is concerned. He averages 33 with a SR of 67. I guess unless the Aussies find someone better, they will go with him. The rest I agree.
cricketpitch Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Robin Uthappa is not a bad batsman. He gets a lot of stick here and people him an FTB but you should know that most players in our ODI side wont do well in conditions where there is swing or seam movement. He didnt half as many chances as some other "talented" batsmen. Yup I agree. The guy hasn't played for India in about 4 years and people here talk as if he has been playing all the while. Robin hasn't played too often away from India. He just played 10 games and averages 30.62 in those games. Rohit "Talented" Sharma on the other hand received 5 times the chances Robin got to play away from India and prove his great "talent". He has played 51 games where he averages 26.30. In spite of his great 2011 WI tour and one good tri-series in Zim, Rohit's record is baffling. Another important thing to note is that Robin only played in Australia, England, West Indies and Scotland and never got to play in subcontinent like Bangladesh, SL etc.. Rohit on the other had has played lots of games in these venues (22 games to be exact) and averages 18 in those games. Rohit has played 88 games to Robin's 38. I don't see how Uthappa is a useless player with more chances than Rohit Sharma, Dinesh Mongia, Hrishikesh Kanitkar etc...
Pakistan Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Afridi Gul Dernbach Hughes Gul is decent first change bowler. People have wrong expectations from him.
Texan Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Not true ?? Krejza only played one more Test after that - in Perth, which is always a spinner's nightmare. Surely, he wasn't being judged only on that performance.
jf1gp_1 Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 I doubt anyone comes close to Darren Sammy; not only is he in playing XI he is also the captain.
Vivek.S.123 Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Shahid Afridi Kamran Akmal Imran Farhat Shoaib Malik Younis Khan (ODI) Misbah Ul Haq (ODI) Mohammed Hafeez (TEST) Imran Nazir
