And was killed to protect them? That means more sickos getting away with similar stuff. This fella needed to be executed but not untill all info was extracted. This stinks, cover up!!

Sounds entirely implausible considering the stature of the man in the society. He couldn't even get his medical bills paid from his employers due to negligent driving, wonder what information he could provide. That said, if we rely on such high profile criminals to provide information on corruption you already are treading a thin rope. However, amongst all this hooplah and OTT noises the core issue - "Death of a inmate under suicide watch" which casts a bigger shade on the processes followed in the jail authorities. This is turning into another case of selective justice and "we deserve it".

King Tendulkar Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Public hue and cry was to great. They had to get culprits. But then once langusihing in prison the mechanisms of cover up went in to action. I dont know jack, but their are rumours. And the whole thing is weird. I doubt if killed by morally outagred people in jail. Sadly no morals inside amongst prisoners and their prison wardens. Murdered for suspicious reasons imo.

But its just practicaly impossible for police to protect us unless we don't realaise the reality in this country.

The arsehole was raped physically and mentally and could not take it anymore. Sexual offenders are usually treated like dirt in prisons, mostly by other prisoners.

He committed suicide as he had become despondent with all the attention this case got, so there was hardly any possibility of evading hanging. Also latest vigour with which India is hanging people might not have helped. I believe stories of inmates treating him badly and assualting him are exaggerated and fueled by media sensationalism. Undertrails in prison become anti-establishment and as first instinct they will be sympathetic to anybody who is not with establishment.

Sean Bradley Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 I strongly beleive that he was tortured to death by inmates and the jail authorities are trying to sweep the truth under the carpet by faking suicide stories, but neverthless, good riddance, deserved every bit of it.

Sachin=GOD Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Good riddance or bad - does anyone here not find the death of an inmate a problem? :dontknow: it most certainly is a problem but since the crime of this person was so very disgusting, the people have chosen not to see the fact that he was killed (or committed suicide) inside a prison and that too when he was supposedly on a suicide watch and was a high security prisoner. I don't expect any fair inquiry into his death and even if there is any inquiry, I'm 100% certain that it will not find the system at fault.
