Currently only Shaw has some semblance with hand eye co ordination when he  plays some shots on off side .

He may end up with batting average of Sehwag, but he does not resembles Sehwag in batting approach. There is far too much difference in game of both those players.

Doesn't have the talent that sehwag had, will be very glad if he comes close to saeed anwar in tests. That should be his aim.

 It has actually become very predictable and boring to see all these under 24 players becoming stalwarts of India since mid 90s. Nice change.

 

 For me he did not look even equal to Shaw while facing moving ball in NZ .  Mind you Shaw was not good either .

My bet is a tempered Shaw who will not take risk every ball  but all depends how much he puts in hard work and becomes more consistent . If he waits a bit he reads and plays swing better than Mayank . Mayak may do good when ball does not seam much .
