1983-2011 Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 lqidg8nP1p0 Ravindra Jadeja may have been mocked by cricket fans, but there is no denying the fact that his cricketing stocks have soared over the last few months. During the recently concluded Test series against Australia, he played a pivotal role in the clean sweep over the tourists by picking up 24 wickets with his left arm spinners. Such has been the impact of the performance that he is set to become the second Indian cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar to be awarded the Order of Australia. Gillard also said that this was a special honour and only a few select non-Australians are awarded. She also said that since Jadeja is busy with the Indian Premier League, Michael Clarke will specially fly down to Chennai to present the honour to the Indian all-rounder. In fact, Jadeja was recommended for it by Clarke himself, who was impressed by the fact that he was dismissed by him five times in the Test series. While there may be a celebratory buzz surrounding Jadeja's latest achievement, a certain Matthew Hayden is not happy with the developments. http://www.cricketcountry.com/youtube-videos/Ravindra-Jadeja-to-be-honoured-with-Order-of-Australia/lqidg8nP1p0
Vanarp22 Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I see that the trolling season in international cricket has officially begun...even for the Order of Australia:hysterical:
trundlerNO1 Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Jadeja needs to be respected. He is not a public JOKER
Vanarp22 Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 fine. he did play a key part in the series. maybe the selectors are the jokers -- picking him 1) as an allrounder instead of a bowler (can't bat in Tests) 2) in the wrong formats all along.
game_changerr Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 all such articles (making fun of jaduu imust be ciculated by other no 6 contenders....may be nohit sarma, yusuf,raina(test)...or who knows may even by jacque kallis as jaddu is set to dethrone him from no 1 allrounder
Needforspeed Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 :protest: Why no knighthood announcement from the British Queen for Sir Jaddu?
Texan Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 :protest: Why no knighthood announcement from the British Queen for Sir Jaddu? That would have taken the joke too far :haha:
gs Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 That would have taken the joke too far :haha: British monarchy is a joke!
yoda Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 not funny, second highest wicket taker in a 4-0 sweep.
Zelig Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 LOL at Jaddu sitting cross-legged in the pic :hysterical::hysterical: :protest: Why no knighthood announcement from the British Queen for Sir Jaddu? There are only few Commonwealth countries that embrace the knighthood and India isn't one. Even Trinidad&Tobago has renounced the OBE. Brian Charles Lara will always remain BC Lara :nice:
