coffee_rules Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 TFS. I still don't agree the greatest threat to the concept of India as a nation is religious extremism. primarily Hindu extemism. It is just a political offspring born out of 50 years of appeasing minorities and creating banks of votes. So, we didn't have communal rights before 1992 when babri masjid issue rose due to Hindu extremism? The threat comes from the scare politics of the so-called secular parties using that as a political pawn to gain advantage over the rise of Modi/BJP. The biggest threat is the divide between rich and poor, fired by consumerism, corruption and bad governance. This was instill bed by the Indira Congress governments which others are following to survive.
